They’re only astronomically more expensive if you buy off the shelf. Building is far cheaper.
Either way I’m stoked for the ps5. The PS4 came out severely underpowered.

They won’t beat PC. They never do. A top end PC will always be a stronger machine than a console.
Plus the 1080 will be nearly 5 years old by the time these consoles come out. Saying you’ll need top of the line from 5 years ago to compete doesn’t make it sound good.

There are larger maps. There’s maps made for 20v20. The maps also aren’t 3 lanes any more. If you expected a huge change in map size for standard multiplayer that’s on you. It’s not going to alienate most of its fan base.
It also looks nothing like previous games. The gun play is completely different and it’s much slower paced. Those who have played it are stating as such.
Well it wasn’t never dead but it lost a lot of its player base once it started chasing the “lol dab dab rainbow coloured Mohawk and tie dye guns” crowd. I can’t stand that stuff in military based games.
