Crysis 2 and 3 were terrible games compared to the first one. They became streamlined average corridor shooters with extremely generic design.
Pretty sure Bethesda Gameworks didn’t make DOOM or Prey. ID and Arkane did. Bethesda’s publishing house just published them.

What are you talking about? The textures are 4x the quality, the polygon count is pushed up, theres new particle effects, the draw distance looks to be infinite, there’s new foliage and debris, there’s ray traces reflections even on the suit.

It’s for the version they remade. The patch is to make essentially closer to the original release. The port they made had some big differences to the original DOS version of the game.
They ported it into the UNITY engine for the current consoles. Patch is mostly to fix the differences.

That link is a 404. The only comparison I can find is the SX being compared to the game running on a Ryzen Processor and RTX 2080 and the average is from a benchmark not actual gameplay. Not the same specs you mention.
