If you want the higher framerates then you buy PC. Customize the games however you see fit. Don’t care about SSAO/HBAO? Turn it off and get 5-10 more FPS.

They wanted a gritty modern WWII with modern physics and graphics. Perhaps some gore. Imagine the DDAY landings with destructible environments. Blowing holes in the beach with the troops moving up and taking cover in them.
