It does seem to bring about situations where inclusiveness ends up battling the almighty dollars. It is probably why there are so many games now that allow characters to enter a romance with either gender without any further comment one way or the other.
I have no doubt that Sony is going to do their best to make lots and lots of 3D games. Its just going to lead them to lose money for five years before 3D TV becomes more standardized and people actually start to care but at least they'll be the cheapest 3D media players available when people catch up.

It took six years to put FFXIII out. They announced this like a year ago and it is scheduled for a September release. Someone needs to either give the FFXIV team a raise or give the other team a pink slip.

If you asked me four years ago if I would think the PS3 would be my favorite system of the generation, I'd call you crazy. Over expensive, disastrous Cell processor, no exclusives: the entire thing was a mess.
Now the price has come down, people can use the Cell better, and I much prefer Uncharted 2, Infamous, and Heavy Rain to the 360s space marine collection. I guess I'm willing to admit I'm wrong.

Now, I don't use Linux on the PS3 because I don't have Aspergers, but it is pretty lame that Sony can arbitrarily remove an advertised feature on a whim. I don't really care whether spazzo up there thought the PS3 would be a powerful computer, but I think we (as consumers) should be concerned about a private company changing our hardware's capabilities after we've purchased it.

You only run that risk if you decide to make all of your characters into base stereotypes. If a male character casually mentions having a girlfriend back home, it is considered character building.
