I wouldve like to wait for the eventual vita release but to hell with it. I just can help myslef, ill just get both versions.
No solid idea? So a liquid one then? Looks like we have confirmation that the next game will take place somewhere in water, a rebuilt Rapture perhaps? LOL in all seriousness I just want a vita Bioshock game. That would be awesome.
This review echos exactly how I feel about Beyond. If you go into it open minded and wanting to try something outside of the norm for video games, then you might be pleasantly surprised. Im about 3-4 hours in and loving every minute of it.
@come_bom
These bought review arguements are just a way for people to feel better about their own opinions. If you dont like something then dont buy it. Simple as that, don't go out of your way to shit on it for people that do enjoy it.
How does that apply to a game that lets you choose the actions you want to take as the main character? The more actions you can choose to take humanizes the character alot more than if you were only given one choice and no options dont you think?
Right there with you man. Regardless of all the negative reviews out there, this game is so far one of my favorite games to come out this year. TLOU, GOW Asencion, Beyond Two Souls, GTA V, and Bioshock Infinite are my top 5 so far. Come November, we'll see what next gen brings to the table.
Same here man. Im loving the game so far. Anyone who enjoyed Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain, hell any one willing to try something outside the conventional, should play this game. It may not be everyones cup of tea but im definitely a fan.
No luck here either man. But I think it's because it is still technically a couple of hours from the official US release date
Really loving it so far man. The Times review was so off, at least in my opinion.
2hrs in and loving it so far. Nothing short of amazing from this game. It's a welcomed change of pace.
@hellvaguy
That is your very misogynistic and short sighted right as an individual. Have fun playing whatever games make you happy man.
Another great review.
Because to him, the Xbox One is getting a gimped version. Even though actual previews for the game say otherwise.
Nope, great games deserve to win GOTY. And what makes a game great is purely subjective. Just because someone doesn't share your view doesn't make them wrong/delusional.
Well the substance of the review says otherwise. When the Director's name is brought up more often than the actually game itself, I'd say there is a problem. But then again I've already picked up my copy so this and every other review is useless to me.
Yup, I'll be picking this one up along with Titanfall when I eventually get an Xbox One.
@ FriedGoat
Well that's your prerogative. I'll be picking up a launch day PS4 with KZ Shadowfall, Knack, Watchdogs and AC IV. And as soon as Titanfall comes out I will be getting that, my Xbox One and a copy of Dead Rising as well.
Win or lose, TLOU is my personal GOTY. That's is not to say GTA V or Bioshock Infinite aren't deserving as well. I loved those games too, but something about playing through TLOU is still sticking with me until now.
Haha, choice is wildly overrated? That is the most backward statement I've heard about games in a while. Anyway, I just picked up my copy and can't wait to pop it in.
I can think of so many multiplayer games that have functional online right out of the gate. But then again non of them do as much as GTA online is attempting to do so I guess it would be meaningless to bring up. In any case, GTA V is the best open world, sandbox game to come out all Generation. But my personal GOTY is still TLOU simply because I felt alot more emotionally invested in the characters and world. But I don't expect everyone to share the same opinion as me so to each their own...
Love what they're doing with the whole game. Definitely one of my most anticipated next-gen titles.
Give us a western release date please. But judging by the Dec. 26th Japan release, we probably won't see it until early 2014. :(
@ Pozzle
My thoughts exactly man, would've loved to get this as a Christmas gift for myself.
