Congrats to Sony and the Playstation brand. Well deserved and well earned. Thank you for the past 7 years of countless hours and days of PS3 gaming bliss.
Just to be clear, I didn't agree with Sony making Plus required for online play. But I do see the benefit it may potentially have on the network for added stability and security. But to be charged to use something as non essential to the gaming experience as Netflix is just plain greedy to me.
Dude i aint buy it for that feature specifically but for something like that to not be included free when sony is doing it seems a bit off to me. Im already paying a monthly for netflix why should i have to pay another subscription to access a feature that is available everywhere else for free?
Good news now all they have to do now is make netflix usable without a live account and im a happy camper when i end up getting an xbox one.
Well just saying, that would be a pretty substantial blow to the Xbox Exclusive lineup.
That would be pretty crazy if they announce the next gears game is gonna end up on the PS4.
She's nothing but plastic surgery and no acting talent. Which is pretty common nowadays in Hollywood.
@sackboy
Thank you :)
A game by design has choice? But if a game is lets say a linear action shooter with no choice of branching paths or any control over the story is that considered a game? Your view of what constitutes a game is pretty shortsighted in my opinion. A game in it's very core should be about interactivity, whether it be linear or open world or something in between. So long as you are somehow interacting with the world i'd say that constitutes a videogame. Just because you dont like David Ca...
Just seems like he's probably excited for the PS4 launch, but anything is possible.
@mohelt,
That is interesting, I guess we'll just have to wait till the 14th to find out.
Great game, people who say indie games aren't on par with AAA really need to rethink that logic. Some of the best experiences I've had, have been Indie games.
@melman
You're still stating your preference which doesn't apply to everyone. It doesn't make it a fact.
@Melman
Weak in what respect? I'm sorry but I disagree with you on that. The only game the xbox one has at launch that I'm even remotely interested in is Dead Rising 3. But that is what it means to have different tastes. I don't disagree with you thinking that the Xbox One has better launch games but don't state it like it's a fact, when really it is all about preference.
How about not awful at all. Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, AC IV, Need for Speed Rivals, Resogun and Contrast for me at launch. Less than 2 weeks away until I get my hands on the PS4. Though I was hoping to add in Driveclub and Watchdogs to the list, I still can't wait.
Difference is they werent fighting the backlash and insisting theyre way is better. sony noticed a backlash and quickly calmed the storm. Microsoft on the other hand defended their policy until the backlash started affecting sales projections.
This is why Sony is such a great company and Playstation has remained a strong brand over the years. The only real issue I haven't seen any real progress in is their advertising. A bright light for them was the Kevin Butler era but nothing really significant after that.
When I first heard about it I wasn't really mad as I wasn't taking advantage of the features anyways. The the lack of it(especially the mp3 support)seemed odd though. But in any case good for those people that do use the features.
My Vita has never collected dust since I got one on launch day. And with remote play and gaikai implementation next year I'll have less reason to put it down.
Media Molecule never ceases to amaze me. I cant wait for this and their eventual PS4 game to come out. Tearaway is one of my most anticipated games on any platform.
@decrypt
Hahahahaha
Day One for me can't wait till next week.
