"I just don't see why all the sheep clamor for this already tired franchise," no, all the sheep clamoured for AC:B and AC:R. This one looks very promising and has a lot of changes and improvement. You're at fault for buying all of them then realizing you don't like them. You over saturated the game for yourself whereas I haven't played an AC game since 2 so this game will feel totally new and fresh to me.

All of the B2K maps and Kharg Island.

Who else is underwhelmed by W8?

Officially excited, lets just hope its as improved as AC2 was.

I wouldn't say that, it was worried that it wasnt going to live up to AC2 status or more. The seemingly low development time was a concern, but that isn't the case now. It looks like they took a lot of time creating this and there's a lot of improvements/changes. I'm excited and most definitely will be buying it.

Unless uninformed people don't do research, they would think its a war zone. But I know a good amount about Sao Paulo. It's not a war zone, but the city has a high rate of kidnappings as does Rio Janeiro.

I only read the text, but did they say it was a war zone in the video interview?

They had to pay local gangs to get access? That's really interesting. It's things like this that wouldnt have ever been known hadn't he told it. More games should come with behind the scenes so we can see what the devs go through.

people just want it to succeed now so the Vita can succeed. People are hypocrites, simples.

I live in Philadelphia which is all about American history. But instead of the history, I want to see how they map the city in the game more than anything else. It hasn't ever been in a game before so this is exciting if its even in the game.

I want to use that bow!

These are VERY good points. I am excited for this one! I can't say the same for the last 2 games though.

I hope they place one of the cities as Philadelphia my hometown. There are some very cool landmarks and Old City (remaining buildings from colonial times) is still around. And yes there are a lot of buildings to climb but I don't think AC3 should have a climbing focus. I think they should move toward a sneaking focus light splinter cell.

"the game was great when it wasn't set in America, but now that it is I don't like it!" - random fan. Boo Hoo, it's a part of the story and America has a rich history so I'm sure whatever they plan to do regarding characters and plot-lines is sure to be good.

I want to see John Adams kick some ass!

No, I don't think you try to defend your homeland in this one. America is already colonized and the Native Americans are migrating to the west so I doubt you'll be doing any retaliating at all. If you don't find it interesting though then too bad, you must have a problem about learning different cultures. I did hear anyone complaint that the previous assassin creeds weren't about America.

Also, America has a strong history of masonry tied to the Templars. It&#...

I thought that at first too, but the reveal of a native American protagonist shifts my view completely. What do you see wrong here?

Making a colonial setting with a native american protagonist sounds very promising. Being an "enemy" on both sides is very intriguing playing an assassin role imo.

Native Americans have been known for their vicious and tactical fighting styles and strategies which makes it all the more interesting. I'm definitely keeping a close eye on this AC because the last couple: AC:R and AC:B have been a let down from an improvement point of view I've heard.

Even I know religion has a tendency to start stupid wars and disputes, and I'm Catholic.

If the main character is Native American I have hope with this game. There are so many weapons would would be able to use at your disposal: Tomahawks, knives, bows and arrows, blow darts with different poisons, it should be very interesting.

Also, I shipped AC:B and AC:R because they were toom uch like AC:2 and didn't have much improvement, but AC:3 looks very interesting so far. I'll see how it shapes up.

Nope, you play as native American by the looks of the picture.

I want this game so bad, it looks like the next great fighting game.
