you still have to playtest it and any other changes they make. DICE doesn't do hotfixes.
EA being taken over would be a very bad thing. People like to hate EA for being "greedy", but EA has actually contributed a LOT to the games industry. If EA goes down, their rival Activision will reign supreme and then the buisness will all go to hell. Activision Consumes WAY more than they produce; I can count their franchises on one hand. With EA out of the picture, our favorite franchises would get shut down as well. No more Crysis, Battlefield, Command and Conquer Generals 2, Ne...
it'd be idiotic NOT to test an upcoming patch.
well, the Mdedal of Honor 2010 had a lean feature.
there's always room to improve
with what!? It's gonna be hard to surprise anyone now because all the major games this fall have already been announced.
Say the trailer did show a slavery clip.
Fox News: "New assassin game promotes slavery"
@clank
You're absolutely right, but don't you think that the editor in chief of each site checks the reviews to make sure they are credible and have valid opinions? If I was editor, I wouldn't just let every review written be posted on the front page because it's an opinion. Sometimes, options affect the outlook of the companies and people can tend to like it or hate it depending on how justifiable their reviews are.
I can just imagine your avatar saying that lol
...waiting for a photoshop expert to tell me which pixel is fake....
I liked #2. More games should give us options on what objectives we want to take on in order to finish a level. Imagine a hostage situation where there are hostages to rescue, but if the hostages died by accident or on purpose, you lose valuable assests in the next mission, or if you win you will be rewarded. It make you want to really PLAY the game to see what happens.
You could also share a funny story: "I entered the room and in a panic the crossfire hit the hostages...
Ikr I hate when a colonel takes a vehicle and doesn't use it the right way. It happened to me recently on a rush map where the guy in the tank just went the opposite way and didn't defend the M Coms which led to a quick defeat. One that could've been avoidable.
I don't think next gen hardware should just be a graphical update. I think it should fundementaly change or improve the way we connect to each other as gamers. Say like a hub, where players become more social through their console, like a better way to compare and play games with each other. Something like that.
It would only be crossing the line if the said gun wasn't obtainable through the ranking system. Early access is fine unless no one else can access it through the game's unlocking system.
Who cares if shipped doesn't equal sold. They make money from shipping games, they could care less if those copies are actually bought, as long as the retailer orders more.
Elite is a rippoff. Everyone should get the DLC at the same time if they paid the same price.
Go out and buy this game now! We need customer appreciation like this!
Is the DLC even worth buying? I've heard the DLC only lasts for 2-3 hours when they were supposed to be expansions.
Um, no one can. It's currently the best selling game franchise of all time. That doesn't go unchallenged in a competitive industry. It's all about being top dog, and EA wants to be top dog.
That's like saying you don't listen to all of Universal Music Group's musicians, but if it went down the music industry would take a major hit and lost jobs. or like a major car company goes down and you don't care because you only like one of their cars.
stuff like this doesn't affect just you.
