That's all the fans rave about. Is there anything more to Gt than it's looks? Idiot fanboys are making this game sound like it won't be anything more than eye candy. It will be pretty tough to take the "defenitive" racer title if graphics and Nascar are the only new things they will bring to the table this gen. Are they going for arcade style racing or sim? I am looking forward to this title and im hoping they will make something like F3 or even better not just graphics.
They didn't think much of the competition or took them serious for that matter and thought they knew what was best for consumers, these guys thought they were the only ones capable of making a succesfull gaming console. Acting all high and mighty after the success of the ps2 and ps. "Next gen doesn't start till we say it starts" not arrogant? Only problem was that this gen started without them and left them in the dust now they are just playing catch up for whatever is left of it...

good games have the tendency to sell great for the most part. It has been proven by many titles such as Batman:Asylum Halo,Gears,GT,Zelda,MGS series,Mario, Mass Effect, Forza, Modern Warfare and so will UC 2. Word of mouth just spreads like wildfire when a really good game comes out. Hopefully the SDF is more than talk this time and actually makes purchases of this game because ND is another developer who deserves all the credit but i bet they will like to be rewarded by selling AT LEAST 2...
these guys deserve it, they have brought something different to the table that no other racing sim on a console has done before and they keep on improving upon that formula and in half the time of its competitors. It's not just un upgrade in graphics but also an upgrade in physics, options and overall gameplay and best of all it will be played this year. These guys get better with each game and are arguebly the king of racing sims for any platform.

For the amount of time it has been in development for i must say it's looking good. Gt does look better but at what cost?time? experience? Gt is got this game beat graphically in my eyes but so what? Im still buying both. GT has always been a looker and T10 is still learning but doing a great job . It is a NINJA game where you SLASH baddies to death so naturally you EXPECT TO SEE ALL THE BLOOD AND GORE IN A NINJA GAME, Hayabusa just looks that much more of a bad ass when he is slashing blood and guts all over the effen place. The playstation really got the gimped version here but still looks like a good game.

but i can't say which will be better between MW2 and this since i havent played either. I do know that Cod 4 on line was like crack. I just couldn't put the control down for a good year on live and i expect to get hooked again once MW2 comes out. I didn't feel the same about BF:BC but it was still fun to play.
PS3 fans don't really have any options but to buy shift. We got forza and so we wait for more bang for the buck. A better comparison would be MW 2. Good for sony anyways.
Its already a great game without it, it's just that the damage adds to the overall experience. I guess little damage is better than no damage whatsoever. Forza has always been more detailed/realistic experience than it's competitor GT. I guess you can say that if you want an arcade experience you can get GT but if you want a more realistic racing sim Forza would be the way to go. I will get both and enjoy both.
but gameplay i don't see why not. I haven't played either but both look like a lot of fun. What's the point of this comparison, both titles will be awesome in their own ways and they're not even coming out at the same time. Both definite first day purchase if i still have a job.
