I hope this is for PS360, but I'll still get it wherever it goes.
That sounds pretty cool actually. I don't like the character designs though. That little Selvaria thing looks like something out of a tentacle rape hentai.
It's a great game, well worth the $60 (it's probably cheaper now). The combat is the star of the show. It's seamlessly blends shooter and turn-based strategy mechanics which makes the battle system fresh. It's more of an action game than an RPG. There's no grid-based battlefield like other strategy games. You can freely roam around, even after you attacked. While attacking, you can take your time and aim. Using the sniper is pretty fun.
Apart from that, there are a lot of charact...
I don't like the looks of it. My only gripe is that it won't be as fresh as the first.

I don't know about the other Nintendo handhelds. You can see that new PSP models are released every year which is pretty ridiculous.
So socomnick, did you just admit you have a small willy?
This article is mainly talking about PSP. The title is misleading. I don't think anyone expected Sony to beat Nintendo in the handheld market. Sony did pretty well with the PSP considering that it's their first handheld, and it's also making profits for Sony - though they're losing them thanks to PS3.
PSPgo's biggest problem was the pricing. It's ridiculously high, and it's the same price the original PSP was introduced at. Along with that, every year there seems to be a new PSP ...
Same here. I'm a Yuna girl as well.
It's both SE and Level-5's fault. From what my friend read, they hate the characters, dungeon designs, the pathetic difficulty (Level-5's fault here) and other things. Also it looks like the Japanese hate White Knight Chronicles - it has a 2.5 / 5 stars. Level-5 is an overrated developer. These guys suck at storytelling and character development - bunch of cliches and whatnot. The only good game they've made was Jeanne D'Arc.
Meh, bunch of shovelware.
I knew this was going to be from Ben Dutka (sp?). This article obviously screams flamebait. The line-up for the 360 so far hasn't been great, but the fall line-up looks awesome: Splinter Cell, Forza, Halo 3 ODST, GTA Ballad of Gay Tony, Magna Carta II (maybe). Anyways, every console gathers dust whether they're being used or not.
I also believe Activision won't stop supporting PS3, but the problem is Sony's attitude/comments towards the situation. Playing the bad guy while being in third place isn't going to help Sony in this situation. Stringer's comment was just retarded.
Yuck, no. Final Fantasy VII is the most overrated JRPG to ever emerge. The reason many people like is because they lost their RPG virginity to this game. FFVII is just an average game: average cast, average music, average combat, average everything. FFVII was my first FF game, but I enjoyed IV, VI and IX more. There's something about that medieval theme that gets to me. The story and characters were great in those games, maybe no that much in FFIX.
Wow, this guy nailed it for me. I'm also seen as a Sony/PS3 hater, but I only hate Sony. They really messed up this generation, and they're slowly making some progress. I do agree with the PS3's terrible marketing. It was advertised as a cheap blu-ray player, and a few developers (Square-Enix is one) were upset.
All I see in the original page is an announcement for their event - no mentions of any particular console or handheld. I hate misleading headlines :(.
Why does PSN rarely get DLCs first? Why isn't there a demo for PSN games or every other game? Read the article or search the web about that fee. Publishers/developers don't like that fee and are pulling or not putting stuff on PSN. PS3 fans are scared of the truth.
Looks good. The only thing I don't like is when the game zooms when someone executes a special move.
Does anybody know if we need to play the first one to understand the story for this one? I haven't finished Magna Carta yet because it sucks so much :(
You guys are missing the point. The reason why PSN lags behind Xbox Live is because of the content. Like the article states, that fee Sony issued to developers/publishers for downloads didn't fare well for Sony. Many don't want to put their DLCs/demos on PSN - that's why many DLCs are exclusive (timed) to the 360. They want to test the water whether it'll be worth putting it on the PSN.
Getting the deluxe edition. For an extra $10, you get a rare guide and some other thing. Very excited for this game.
Marked on my calendar. Bayonetta is looking sweet; I hope it isn't disappointing like DMC4.
