"They told me that the game can tell, based on the skeletal anatomy of a gamer, if they are children and then automatically adjust the difficulty"
Uh...there had better be a manual way to adjust difficulty. Because height doesn't necessarily equate to skill or age.
"I just don't see why core gamers defend this crap because it is obviously not meant for them"
Over 40 million people, that includes myself, who didn't buy the 360 for Kinect have full right to be annoyed that Microsoft is diverting most of its attention to Kinect and non-gaming features.
Just like we were at the turn of the century.
Except this time, instead of some slightly "logical" explanation (SOME computers had issues with turning over, but obviously the nuclear launch pads weren't going to be set off by it), we have a handy 1400 year old calender that they stopped working on (Probably because they were 1400 years ahead of schedule, lol).
I saw a lot more speculation for a 360 price cut than a PS3 one...
Everything is doomed.
EVERYTHIIIIIING!!!
I don't think any pseudo-social interaction games are impressive. Not milo, not skittles, not cleverbot (LOL)...
What were they thinking?
How come there isn't any software for the Kinect in even the top 50 then?
Why are two options for purchasing the Move in the top 25 along with the nav controller and two Move supported games?
There are like 3 different things for Move and they're all in the top 25.
Oh, and building upon what GWAVE said, there is actually Move supported software in the top 25. Can't say the same for Kinect.
EDIT: No Kinect software even in the top 50.
Let's fix the oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico by calling it The Gulf of Oil.
Then the problem with the Gulf of Mexico is gone, because the Gulf of Mexico no longer exists.
There are like 3 different things for Move and they're all in the top 25.

EDIT: You guys must be REALLY butthurt to disagree with these important factors that the article failed to mention.
Just because cavemen started using clubs before man started using swords, doesn't make the club any better.
If Tom Hanks hadn't advised me on who to vote for, I might have voted for a 3rd party! Good thing he saved us.

Pfft, I LOWERED my expectations for MS's 2010 E3 conference, and even that didn't get met.
I didn't see a SINGLE exciting surprise at MS's E3 conference. I saw 3 previously announced exclusives, 2 previously announced multiplats, and a whole lot of Wii-clone crapware and non-gaming features.
I'd be willing to pay a small fee to add Move-functionality....can' t they make that an option?
I mean, I understand that adding something like that takes time and money. But not $50 worth on my end.
Not when I've spent $60 on the game already.
"And no, the standard version of Resident Evil 5 will not get the update"
:(
"you'll hold a modifier button on the sub-controller and then use the Move button to swing your knife"
What the - ? Really?? You press a button to swing the knife when you have something that vaguely resembles a sword handle in your hand??
I'd understand if you had to hold a button down to take it out and then swung, but pressing a button and the...
Better question: Who cares?
Okay, so they don't have anything GOOD in their first party lineup.
Well, you might be able to do some stuff with skittles sitting down....otherwise....eh...
I don't think that's it's the WORST campaign idea ever, but the execution is lacking.
