It's pretty sad that so many gamers are willing to take so much abuse.
Personally, it's against my principles to support those who think that it's okay to release something broken so long as they get around to fixing it (eg. Broken/buggy games, 360, etc).
Did they show gameplay at E3?
"Sometimes we need buttons to have certain kinds of experiences ... We need to know exactly what you're doing with your hands, especially in the more hardcore experiences."
They didn't say "buttons = Hardcore durf durf" like the hits hungry author makes it out to be. Their point is that button input is needed in order to have a complete experience with a lot(if not most) types of games.
Pre-orders don't equate to sales or product longevity.
I don't get why anyone would want to yell commands when we have buttons. Press a button labeled "pause" and it pauses. And it won't mistake it for any other button like voice command could.
well that's what happens when you stick to problematic design choices like the inclusion of the dreaded X-clamp.
Or at least the system that they SHOULD have designed after they SHOULD have recalled the faulty ones.
I know it was delayed again, but I'm more interested in Brink. THAT looks fresh.
"MOH is a wannable COD"
AHAHAHA! Learn your history, jr.
Already planning a form of DLC for the $60 game, eh?
That sucks about Move only being available on the gold edition.
But the Move is looking good with SOCOM and RE5.
I'd be surprised if it WASN'T Ricochet.
We've seen enough of your posts to be aware that you have no shame.
ZOMG, but you haz to buy two move controllers (even though none of the current known software requires two) and a nav controller (Even though you can use the sixaxis/DS3 in its place) and more controllerz for more people to play (Because OBVIOUSLY the other people who want to play Move won't have their own controllers) and you'll haz to spend a gazillion dollarz!!
As opposed to using your controller in place of the nav and buying a move and eye, spending only $90. <...
$149.98
The pseudo-stock holder fanboys are going to be really sad if MS sells it at a loss and no one buys their $60 minigames.
I agree with the author that neither have very strong launch titles. I mean, some good titles, but not really any mind-numbingly amazing titles.
I can agree with people saying that Sony and Nintendo were neck and neck or that one was ahead of the other,
but Sony and Microsoft? No. Microsoft's had a lot of pre-recorded footage, mistakes, lack of content, lack of surprises, etc.
The problem with the Kinect is the lack of middle-ground.
Sure you can use the Kinect for side applications in hardcore games, but you can't make any changes significant enough with it to get hardcore gamers to spend $150.
If you ask me, they made a grave mistake by not trying to get their current 40 million owners to join in.
Promises an ocean, gives us a puddle.
The last current known plan for a hardcore application of Kinect....*FLUSH*
MS's 2010 E3 conference was like 20 minutes of games and then the rest was non-gaming features and Kinect.
"Wait for E3 2010! Microsoft will have the lag fixed. They have the magically lag-free perfected edition locked away in an underground lair. They are just showing us crappy footage so that E3's footage will look that much better. And they will have awesome hardcore uses, too; grenade throwing, voice and gesture command...it'll be awesome!"
You Xbox trolls need to get these facts into your head:
1) NONE of the currently announced Move games require 2 Move controllers.
2) You can use the sixaxis/DS3 as a nav controller.
3) PS Eye + Move = $90
4) Other people who like to play Move will have their own controllers. They have an option to play more than 2 players. Kinect players do not.
