A completely basic understanding of price points would bring with it the realisation that the 360 has fulfilled its potential at the current price and wants to now make it more accessible to other bands of disposable income. The PS3 is still attracting those willing pay a higher fee but will soon adopt a similar strategy. As has every games console since the dawn of time!! Hardly desperation :)
Wouldnt Newton make more sense than Darwin? Unless theyre trying to present it as the "evolution" of the Wiimote
Every company rips off each others ideas. People would be naive to think Microsoft were the only company to do so. The positive aspect of this is that improvements and fresh ideas can be implemented, taking the original idea forward.
Each to their own.
Since when is the PS3 getting a price drop? Good news if so
Edit: I love completely illogical disagrees.
1) Usage on ported Wii games
2) Usage in upcoming 360 games

to once and for all solve the problem with console based RTS with the Newton performing like a mouse.
If true! I think its a great move for Microsoft and one which I'm sure Sony is taking an advanced interest in as well.
I agree, cost of living is really high. Dont even get me started on house prices! I live in Edinburgh where a friend has just bought a 2 bedroom flat for £235,000! Its mad. Although we get a really good exchange rate with the USD, the Euro is becoming stronger and stronger.
Is it therefore ok to believe whatever innacuracies the Daily Mirror posts?
I see a degree of hypocrisy here
I just dont actually see where the story is in this. When taking the info of this article on board, you'll notice it that it debunks the rumour that Xbox Elites are actually failing. Everyone knows 360 has had more than its share of technical problems but I believe theyre in the past. Furthermore I feel more vehemont about this as I know that the Mirror is a very unreliable source whereas usually other avenues for submissions are more alien to myself. Perhaps, in that light, i should be more ...
My biggest gripe on N4G, is people claiming to have had consoles break on them 4,5,6 or even 7 times. Its the same principle as stating "I caught a fish this big". Apologies if those unfortunates are being honest, but i just dont buy it.
1 Elite has apparently overheated.
Leading repair company states Elites are rarely repaired
Im losing all respect for the Sony fans who are all over this
This is the same nonsense thats already been posted. The amount of biased drivel on here is astounding. Its hard to actually remain objective and argue reasonably on here, im just about ready to play PS3 fans at their own immature game.
Sadly there appears to be a direct correlation with those who talk trash with those who believe what the daily mirror produces.
I appreciate what you're saying but I dont keep reading it. Its just through being a UK citizen that I come into contact with it. Furthermore, I think its rare that you'll find a newspaper that has a daily "busty babe" on its covering going hand in hand with good journalism.
Its actually quite ironic that the newspaper that i do read (The Guardian) has today published Trinity Mirrors (and other newspapers) financial fortunes seing its share price plummet 81% from 480p t...
For those of you who dont know the Mirror its an absolutely pathetic source for journalism. They always publish massively exaggerated stories whether its current affairs, football or now consumer goods.
I honestly wouldnt be surprised if it was simply a slow news day and the journalist pounced on a couple of incidents of rrod and turned it into this. Furthermore, he states hundreds, well how does 999 broken consoles equal £500m?
Im not saying Im unwilling t...
I love my 360 and I much prefer the gaming content found on the system compared to the Wii. But id be really happy if the Newton controller is unveiled and incorporated into the style of games we've become accustomed to. Especially as i love RTS games and it can replace the mouse functionality found on the PC.
If i was them id be really pleased that another console has become more financially viable. Particularly when you consider that loads of the 360's best games are now in the bargain bin. Good times.
its difficult to make a list of only 5 games!
I have no idea if this was popular or not but I loved it!
