Why are you guys still so hung up about this acquisition?!! It’s not going to equate into new releases for you immediately should it go through and that’s even a BIG IF. We three years into this generation and you guys have nada. Nothing of substance. It’s public knowledge to the point where PS5 is currently outselling XBOX 5 to 1. This wouldn’t be happening if MS was releasing quality titles. But no, harp on about this, drink their koolaid and then wonder what happens when they no longer aro...

@jznrpg I’m hoping that the Board or Satya will reflect on the current state of XBOX and do the right thing; place somebody competent at the helm of the ship and bring about change. It might not take root this generation but hopefully they can start the next one on the right footing. They need to change the leadership immediately though.
I totally agree. XBOX needs to compete. Not buying out companies but by fostering their development teams and investing in new IPs. That’s what keeps our industry healthy.
I honestly don’t know how to reply to this. Phil himself has said in that interview that releasing games will not help XBOX. Why would one want to support them then? Do you play games? Do you like games? Do you have an interest in games? Because if you answered yes to any of this you should be up in arms against Microsoft and Phil and company. He is pretty much hanging XBOX out to dry.

Ah this. All those games you mentioned convinced me to get a 360. 2007 to 2011 was spectacular. Then came Kinect….
Who would fill the much needed gap? Nintendo is fine in their own space and Sega definitely does not have the appetite or the need to enter the hardware space once again. I would rather prefer that Microsoft by some miracle course corrects. This would actually mean that they abandon their current strategy, develop and release games and foster their development teams and houses. Sound impossible for them but they need to return to pre 2011 360 days.
