NMS is a scam. All those trailers, previews and interviews Sean Murray did are BS. Compare the actual game to all those previews. NMS is in reality is mining simulator, which zero videos (and Murray) showed. He also BS'ed about multiplayers and bumping into gamers. No such thing.

Spam article. It links to a Call of Duty article.

Nowhere in the article (or the link in the article about the Tokyo Show) said the dev stated 1080/60 for PS4.

I can make a fake claim too and say the PS4 game is actually 1080p/120 fps

Maybe Fallout 3 will come out for PS Now at a fee of $7.99 per week. lol

Lizard Squad's twitter saying something big coming. Also, they just posted today some personal info about a Daybreak employee and details about Smedley's father's grave (with pics).

Told you guys John Smedley shouldn't have gone public.

The problem is much of his issues are coming from attacks on his personal side of things. Less so on the gaming front.

Not surprisingly, LS unleashed more DDOS attacks since his Reddit turning his games into a shytstorm. Check out Daybreak Games Twitter, they are going overboard on game service status.

That's why you don't air dirty laundry publicly as it affects the broader spectrum.... which is the company, games, gamers and employees.

You may be right. Maybe his approach is more effective than trying to resolve it behind the scenes.

But let's face it, this just attracts more attention. And I doubt people will suddenly support his cause by buying more games to help out Daybreak.

With that in hand, his company better be prepared for anything that comes his way because if things falter, he's got a big studio with lots of employees he's responsible for. And having LS hit Daybrea...

You guys are missing the point. As CEO he should be handling it better.... more maturely and behind the scenes.

Ranting on Reddit about swatting, credit applications and also business issues shows he doesn't have things under control.

The last thing any CEO should be doing is publicly telling the world he can't handle anything.

Lots of companies and CEOs and VPs have issues, you don't see many publicly rant on Reddit. It just shows weakness and lack of control.

People are acting surprised because not everyone reads internet articles from execs.

Also, it is still surprising because in videogames, the hardware maker is one who always supports their own platform with quality first party games. Even to the end.

But what Sony is doing is still selling the system, but letting third party devs do the legwork.

It's a great idea to have BC.

Not only does it give gamers an option to play 360 on X1, but it will help MS weed out 360 consoles at stores. MS doesn't make much money selling these things, nor do stores. Console hardware is not a profitable part of selling games so better to shut it down.

MS can put the money towards improving X1 hardware and games.

Getting rid of 360 gear at store shelves taking up space allows MS and stores to ma...

From the article regarding sequels:

"From a business standpoint, that’s the safest bet, because the core gameplay is already done and there is already an established fanbase. There’s less risk involved. But when you move to a sequel, and then to a third and fourth game, there are less and less things that people haven’t already envisioned and tried, and doing the same project again and again forces developers to work on the same things for ten years or more. That’s a ris...

Nice job by MS. MS has the games and features in 2015.

Mr Dead, you must have been watching a different E3 show. Almost all of those games you listed are not big name titles, and very few got big exposure on stage by Sony presenters.

And you should edit your list. You padded it with many duplicated cut and pastes. All of the following games you mentioned twice:

Persona 5
UC Collection
Tearaway
DQ
Until Dawn
Everyone Gone to Rapture

What key exclusive games on stage did Sony promote that are coming in 2015?

3922d ago 2 agree10 disagreeView comment

Future Shop and Best Buy Canada often give $20 off, or a buy 2 get 1 free kind of deal during their promos during E3.

You'd think the indie game is $1 or $5 right? Nope. Wander is $25.

I'm not a PC gamer, but that Steam refund policy is pretty darn sweet!

It's been lifetime policy for software in general to be buyer beware.

But good to see Valve bust the code and offer refunds whether the developers like it or not.

I'll buy games at launch if they are on pre-order deal like $20 off. I never pay full price.

But given how fast game prices drop, big time bugginess, and tons of remasters and GotY editions, going forward I might just wait for $20 GotY editions 9 months later.

It's the year 2015. Gamers should know better. Games seem buggier than ever, so to buy it blindly on day one is risking getting burned with a bad game.

Some devs are better than others, but there's still the risk of a lousy game.

If gamers just held tight for an extra few days or a week and let game site reviews hash it out, lots of gamers will save money. Most games will be reviewed by game sites within a week of launch, so info is quick. It'...
