i think the fight mechanics were too complicated for a casual game but not enough for a fighting game.
characters were also not as well known as mario, zelda pokemon.
i guess that maybe true. not really sure what the big deal about smash is though.
problem for psallstars was that it tried to do too much. kind of like a fighter to compete with games like sf but not complexed enough. and not crazy enough as smash.

jaffe spoke his mind and never really said fuck off to his fans. he always talked about the industry and how he wants to make more money and make a game that is based purely on gameplay. basically a battle arena type game with mechanics that showed skills.

the concept was flawed to begin with i think. i mean it was meant to have a cops and robber feel to it but to me it was just a multiplayer fps.

i think it has more to do with no one ever going to buy another version of sf4 on a different console. i mean how many sales can they expect wiiU to sell? 100k? how long would the online services be worth to extend?
just wondering if there would be much point in releasing an iteration for this gen. just concentrate on the next sf instead.
i mean i presume the market for sf4 gets smaller after each iteration. so releasing this would just split the online audience even more.

also i presume most people has a few charities they like, they prefer to spend what they feel on those and if people publically call out to others to help donate and pass the message then they may not like it and feel forced to donate to others.
