maybe got revealed a little too soon. but judging from kojimas discussion, in a sense he knew otherwise he would not be talking about pt on stage.
the game did look very indie like, especially with the bad textures, lighting and shadows.
teaser did its job though. it shows that its as scary as the new fps horror games like amnesia/outlast. basically proves that old skool horror games can be like that.
also shows that there is a budget behind...
waste of an article and people dont care. the internets just want that 1080p tag which everyone seems to talk about. my tv same as everyone elses is 1080p but who acgually has 1080p content?
well its just pixels, makes picture sharper and needs a strong cpu/gpu. though using those respurces may mean other effects or framerate may suffer. but do people care how the game looks? no we just want 1080p/60fps tag so that we can brag about our consoles and the other console cant do ...
said this a fee times to others. just dont think of this as sharing a game. you can easily share games by giving them your disc. think of this as sharing an experience.
heres a new scenario. you live 500 miles away from friend. friend purchases new mgs game. you now create a virtual room (basically a live stream, maybe even private. im unsure.)with yourself, owner of game and possibly more friends. go through the single player experience and if you die, pass the controller vi...
as i said. dont think of this as a share game. if that is the case then this is not for you. think of this as a virtual room with you and your friends.
@dash
yosp just announced that it is a ticketing type thing. basically owner allows user to play a 60 min session but user is either watching or inactive. basically turning it into a remote play. per session may mean the owner will have to keep giving the user a ticket to carry on.
the ns thing was a totally different monster itself. i mean that would have been a proper share game, this however feels more like share experience which i prefer.
though i personally think that announcement xbone was better than it is now. i mean i buy all my games and never trade in and probably leave it on the shelf and not touch it afterwards. i dont care if i can play it in 20 years time.
i would have been surprised if it was. i mean if it was exclusive then fair plays to sony.
the teaser was nothing more special then the betas ps4 players have been getting. though i have a feeling that this would feel more special to playstation owners since they in a sense helped reveal the title.
i mean it feels a little more special than a beta since this has never really happened before.
Not a big fan of these games. But hoping to get back into it.
Loved the snes shooters back then. Would this be too difficult to get back into?
Seems like you are an original fan of the series. So the reboot and this may not matter to you as much. I think for some, they may just be pissed off because they feel entitled.
Tomb raider was on Saturn and then n64 a little later. Did they complain as much? Not too sure since Internet was not like today. But I guess deal with it should be the reply.
For fanboys be disappointed. Yes.
For fans to be outraged? They have a point. But it's business and money at the end of the day. Devs and publishers need the money for survival.
Will the game be exclusive forever? My instincts say no. Just seems like it's holiday 2015 exclusive.
For fuck sake. I rather them keep quiet about it rather than saying something to remind me that I have been waiting.
Anyone knowhow many people is working in teamico?
Lol. What a troll title.
Kojima says he is not interested in remakes. But if he did it would be mgs1.
That aside. I think he should do the 2 metal gears. Would be the game where people don't complain about being too different.
Thoughts understand hisbattachment to mgs. It isbwhat made him who he is today. The first masterpiece he has made that got home global fame.
U was probably the only one wanting to know who that mysterious character was. A little let down tbh.
@fareast
Never said it was. Just saidbthey made no contracts to provide you what you fund. They can do anything.
Just saying it is sad for people with wiiu hoping for something.
Also oculus rift was nothing. Just a bunch of jealous guys funding a company that ended up making billions.
shareplay isnt something like lending a game to a friend.
its more like an evoluionary step from watching live streams. maybe like a virtual room where we share experiences with friends and able to pass the controler around. im at the age where i wont go to a friends place and chill, play single player games and take turns. this makes it possible through the internet.
why its different to lending a friend your game is that you have to be playing that game at ...
in a sense, its what the developers want. publishers are not evil, they do want to make money but they also provide the platform for devs to make their games.
some devs have their own artistic views on things but in a sense they want to earn money and finish a game and have a chance at making another. publishers will them them what is likely to sell more and what isnt.
saying that, minecraft would probably not have been released.
so what do d...
no, these indie titles would not persuade me to buy a system. i mean even my pc could probably hand some of these.
however, i bought one already and i am enjoying indie titles. i like some more than kilzone. though i am not a fps fan.
aaa are what the masses like, its easy enough to understand that right? indie in every industry has smaler budgets and smaller fanbase. mention an indie band and then mention justin beiber or taylor swift, see who gets more attention. indie film vs transformers.
not saying one is better than the other, but the majority will think the big label would be better since its catered and made to a bigger audience. publishers in a sense no what the audience likes.
@m...
i think sony just wants as many exclusive indies as possible, its cheaper that way and those indie games do get a bigger spotlight.
tr didnt need the exclusivity. but it does seem liked a timed thing anyway, so thats a non argument.
its kickstarter for you, no contracts behind anything so they dont have to produce what they promised. for something bound for multiplatform to suddenly go exclusive to consoles is pretty sad news though.
kojima also revealed/teased/mention during fox engine production that this engine would be used inhouse for many projects such as pro evo and could be used for silent hill.
