they dont really complain about games. its more about certain foriegn media that they wont allow.
f2p pc gaming os very big over there and i guess they wanted to open up to console gaming aswell. xbone got released and as far as im concerned, it was region locked and all games have been published by chinese companies.
its a good opinion and i am wondering how they will pull this off. china likes to have control over media. such things like facebook and twitter does are blocked.
foriegn movies have been entering china more often, so not sure what rules they have now. i remember harry potter was not released in china because of its fantasy setting.
im guessing they will region lock it through firmware updates in the future. thats te only thing i can think of at this moment
as a hardware manufacturer they probably want to keep the hardware price as much as possible. its better for the industry itself.
however for consoles and turning profit for the company then its better to keep it at sale price. the extra sales they make will probably turn more profit through games sales in the long run.
that is until if sony will decide to lower their costs aswell and have a price war on hardware.
the graphics and art style match pretty well.
however, my biggest problem with what ive seen of this game is that i dont like the art style. its a risk they took to make the game stand out from others but sadly i feel they could have done something more traditional.
heard that this game had the worst action parts. something that was tacked on and the developers didnt really want it in the game

if it were to happen again then it needs to be redone from scratch starting from the first game. a new engine with almost no load times, Need more random NPC's to fill the streets. shenmue2 needs to have better loking buildings and layouts, it just didnt look like hk at all and more like a maze.
sadly, it was a niche game with a budget of a super aaa game.
yu suzuki created some of the most iconic arcade games and i think thsi was his first console game. i guess he over budgeted this game.
anyways, it tried to do so many things which was amazing for its time, but the console itself just couldnt handle it properly. load times just put people of exploration and the game was very slow paced. it was an adventure rpg game with very little action.

shenmue series is one of my fave games, i used to play it before every e3 hoping for an announcement but sadly stopped that traditional a probably a few years into ps3.

im not an expert sf player but i guess i am pretty decent. wouldnt mind a f2p system i described below.
im pretty old school where i would play sf/capcom fighters on console and would go to arcades where i can play people and test my skills. i just feel that people take fights more seriously when they are limited with credits.
its either that or limit people with credits on ranked matches.
a free to play system can work but its way too risky.
my ideal f2p would be paying a dollar or 2 to unlock story mode for each charater.
mp has every character available but you only get 5 credits. win and you carry on playing. lose and you lose a credit. credits will come back like a stamina system, friend invites or paying.

it is a growing trend and i think the souls series was to blame dor this. they had you invade and fight other people right? also has leaving hints along the way for others to see. never palayed the game myself so cant be too sure.
journey also had this player invasion thing which was very wel recieved as it didnt really interupt with anyones game.
