its never really like that.

other coop fans would hate it if coop was tacked on. peace walker didnt really scale so well, some extra mission bosses felt a little hard single player but co op was way too easy. i still liked the game but things like this proves that the single player was affected in a way.

i personally play single player more than co op so obviously i feel this way. others who play co op more will definitely want co op.

lol. that would be quite hilarious.

i personally wouldnt want any co-op in this game at all. i want a single player experience that is amazing, not so ething that would be changed due to co-op elements.

if you had a ps3 and plus from the start, you probably have a massive backlog of great games. i only have a 100gb hdd so testing ps+ games became a chore and i hated those download, install and patch updates time.

its probably more sensible for me to buy a massive HDD for ps3 and spend time downloading all those games i got for ps+

i think $10 was always going to be a stretch. $50 for a year is unthinkable.

$45 for 3 months is pretty decent if you think about it. not ideal but its pretty decent. im guessing psnow would have a bunch of 1 time 3 month subscribers. if i was younger like a student i would definitely do that.

in a sense it would help sony lower the costs due not having to stream this amount of data constantly.
however, this means that it would only work for ps3, DRM would be a pain, those long downloads, install and patch updates would just kill the service.
i think it was initially done for backwards compatibility issues, but in the future i am guessing it could evolve into something else entirely.

netflix is now 8.99 in us.
normally us-eu price is swap the currency sign. UK would be around 10% lower.
so im guessing:
1 month €20-£18
3 months €45-£40
so roughly £13 a month. not the greatest, but ok.

i just wonder what happens when you use a us account, will we still be connecting to us servers or local servers?

gamefly is a different kind of service thats run to make money of a rental service. basica...

its a subscription model. you try to let me have access to 100+ games for under $20 on a console i may not even have.

also let me have it instantly, change game instantly, no need for installations, no need for patch update, no online passes nonsense and apparently most dlc included(not sure about this one)

its the whole subscription model thing. a lot of the time you get crap for things you dont want on days you dont even play it.

i could imagine doing the 3 month thing and then playing 5 hours on my first day and then not touch it at all for the rest of the 3 months.

the price would go down if no one subscribes to the service. maybe plus discounts would happen, though i think most ps4 gamers have plus.

i think they need yearly subscriptions aswell. 11.99/12.99 per month for - year sounds pretty decent.

everyone prays for subscription model and then complains that $45 for 3 months is expensive.

what were they thinking?

netflix is now 8.99
video games are generally more expensive and is 14.99

you can argue about other rental service but they are different to a streaming service.

anyway, i need to wait and see what countries this is available for and what prices would they be. or i could just get off my fat ass and get...

is she even famous? never really heard of her before.

great song, i always loved the music in the mgs series.

with that said, what was the song for mgs4? was there any new ones or was it all the ones from older games?

i dont think the game was made for controversy reasons. it was just developers taking it too far without actually thinking about it.

we get violent games all the time, hatred devs just thought lets make some dark protaginist kill lots of people with cool death animations. storyline? we dont need one like most other games out there.

hatred would probably be a success a few years back. but now we may have has too many violent type games and many indie devs are ...

blah blah blah. studies dont mean much imo. most of the time it reflects what the researcher wants to show. i could technically make a study that proves video games lead to violent behaviour.

in a sense any competitive game or sport leads to aggression which then could lead to violence. video games can add to aggression due to the violent nature it represents.

im not saying video games breeds violent behaviours, i am just saying that it can push people more ...

thats a brilliant question.
everyone else here doesnt seem to know which is why they are having yet another 1080p/60fps conversation.

this tweet is probably for geeks who understand what that means. or a marketing gimmick that lets fanboys talk about something we havent got a clue what it means or how others like forza or GT do.

couch co op is always going to be a great experience. reason being that you have your friends around you. its always more fun scoring a goal in fifa and laughing at their faces or doing a victory dance then doing it over a mic.

havent played any mario kart online aswell and i probably will never do that. its just not the right game to find competitive mp and i rather just play that with splitscreen and a bunch of mates.

4189d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

couch co op is pretty great. loved that when i was younger but now i probably only get to do that once a year at christmas.

people who are shouting shareplay? well shareplay is more of a share single player experience. havent tested it myself but why use shareplay for a game like street fighter or killzone when you have multiplayer function anyway? i understand you dont have to pay for game twice but most of the time you both probably share that game.

From reading previous comments, articlrs and forums. I always thought that xbones problem wasn't really a latency issue but more of a bandwidth problem.

Am I wrong?

ive only played fallout3 so cant talk about the rest too much. bethasda released a game on the ps3 that just didnt really work after 50% playthrough. the games framerate dropped big time.

new vegas? supposedly better with employees that worked on the original fallout. but it is obsidian and they always release a buggy follow up to sequels.

anyway. i just want a game where i can play from start to end with a consistent framerate. its not right if i cant aime a...

is that 3 million number high? seems high to me but im not too sure. have to wait and see what happens in a few years.

4189d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

it definitely had a succesful launch. but this is an online game where they are expecting players to play for a long time so we have to see if people still buy the expansions in 3 years time?
