i somehow prefered the look of the ps2 version. maybe because of the low res and thick fog that it could hide all the details.
pc version just looked a little too clean. xbox apparently didnt run as smooth and we know how the hd ports went.

1313 is owned by disney, they only gave/sold/leased the rights to make Star Wars related games exclusively.

I think it's great that it didn't get released a few years ago. PS3 hardware was getting old and I rather it be on a newer system where we would get less framerate problems.
think about the yakuza(ryu ga gotoku) series, in NA&EU it has sold around 1 million copies spanning y1-4 & dead souls.
It's too big of a risk to localise games that probably end up selling 10,000 copies.

everyone complaining that this is a cheap port, however this is the only port where they actually improved the combat system. other definitive or hd ports has only been graphical but this has upped gameplay to 60fps and changed gameplay to something which original dmc fans wanted.

i aint gonna have kids for a while and i dont even know if i will play video games in the future, but if i was playing a gears of war in the living room i would love for a feature to make it less violent into something like uncharted.

Don't see a problem with that tbh. Just give us an option in the game and it be OK. But I guess that is up to the developers if they want it in or not. I mean DOA gives us an option to turn bouncing boobs on or off or even change the sizes. Mk had blood node on or off. Why not have stuff less violent. If I had kids and I was still gaming I probably don't want to let him see heads getting blown off, and if I had an option to turn it off it would be great.
