"ms were stuck out there alone and that hurt them both from a pr standpoint and financially if the pre order numbers are anything to go by."
I'm not sure if MS can fully recover even after taking of all the DRM restrictions. Got all the bad press at E3 and not everyone will be informed about the MS taking off DRM restrictions.
I actually prefered Xbone having the DRM restrictions, probably would have pushed gaming further along. I don't sell...
well kinect features are even more redundant than they were before.
retail games are released cheaper than digital, even at launch.
I am also a collector/hoarder... I prefer to have the disks, but like the convenience of digital games.
Now the thing about playing while downloading on PS4... has that even been explained yet? If you see that one PS trailer/preview of the guys playing knack and killzone. Killzone has two options when downloading...
I agree, in a way.
Some developers has said that they feel they are underpaid. This DRM thing for used games could have helped these devs a little bit.
Tomb Raider sold millions and I think it only broke even. If it had used games DRM on tomb raider then maybe it could have made a profit.
David jaffe would probably be inerested in this used games DRM aswell. I think he complained alot about not earning enough money when compared to hollywood/...
actually you might be right about it being single player aswell. don't know why i thought it was multiplayer only.
MS dropping DRM along 2 other features has made me not interested in that console at all. The two dropped features was the only thing that made me interested in the system. I'm not a big xbox fan/gamer.
I'm just wondering if PC game sales would drop again since the new generation is coming. I mean PC got a huge boost in sales recently...
ok.. know you ran out of bubbles so you don't need to or cant reply. Just wanted to clarify a few things.
Not everyone has complexed or organised home system like yours. I am guessing lots of people have a simple set up.
Xbone features are just trying to simplify things and make everything accesible from the Xbone, even though it only has one HDMI in.
MS understands that most gamers have a decent internet connection and tried to make some...
@Ddouble:
I think MGSV has a big chance of being released on PC. Probably a little later than the consoles though.
I mean support for PC has been quite big recently, although that maybe because current gen is so far behind.
"Piracy leaps to mind. There's just more of it on PC. "
Not really 100% sure but this seems like a multiplayer only game. therefore piracy can be kept to a minimal?
Not sure if you trolling or being sarcastic, but I agree with you.
MS just took 2 of the only reasons I would have bought an Xbone. Now it's just an over priced weaker PS4 with big brother watching you 24/7.
Game sharing would have been an amazing feature and would have saved me so much money.
I just like the idea that I can change games immediately. Am I fat and Lazy? Yeah, probably a little. But that's besides the point.
I mean the whole point of Xbone was everything being instantaneous. Switch beween TV and console, switch between games and movies. I think one major feature has gone.
Also Family sharing was an incredible idea. Hopefully they will bring this feature to people who purchase digitally.
Definitely agree with this article. I loved the DRM stuff. I mean I don't buy used or trade games anyway so having a full install and family sharing was perfect.
All my Vita games are mostly digital because I am too lazy to change disks. Also kiinect features seems a little pointless now. The Xbone design was meant for all games to be fully installed and not require disks. Now it needs disks it wont be as immediate as before unless you go all digital.
This is actually bad news for me. I did like the direction MS going.
Don't care for used games and internet connection at my house is decent, so I would have prefered being able to install full games and share games with 9 other people.
Sad day for me.
I actually like the DRM.
Install game onto Console.
Share games with family.
2 best features I wanted for any console
I would have prefered the Xbone with all the DRM.
The thing that was interesting about the Xbone was able to install full game and not need the disk anymore.
Family sharing...
Now they took that away I probably won't buy the Xbone
I can't see why they won't release it on PC... Think thye just want attention...
So Ishmael is Kojima!?!?!? lol...
Thinking about it, I guess the whole reason for creating Joakim and Kojima wearing a mask was probably too give us hints about Big Boss is just a guy in a big boss mask.
This video does make some wild claims, but backs it with some relevance. Well he tricked me into believing his theory anyway.
he mentions that the snake in the hospital is snake. The guy covering his face ishmael is Fray Fox. Ishmael apparently sounds alot like Keifer Sutherland.
Well since Raiden is pretty much a replica of Gray Fox then it can be possible.
not really a second copy for your family group to use since they wont be able to play it if you are playing it yourself.
Think your family members can play any game from your list as long as no one else is playing that game. Or maybe I am wrong and only one person can play from your list at one time.
@gameonbro
I'm one of those people who doesn't have patience. If I turn off the Xbone I am afraid it will take as long as a phone/windows to actually boot up.
I rather keep it on standby.
I don't really mind about the kinect voice commands, just cant stand having a Webcam staring at me all day. It just freaks me out.
taken the lead for the week or total?
