Is gaming news slow or is this the new way of reporting? One little tweet and loads of websites write articles about it.

They were the best around the market, definitely not for 3-4years but that were decent for the first 2. However, being the best BR device over a few dodgy BR players doesn't change the fact that the Drive is still slow and as gamers it will affect us.
I mean how many games didd we get that needed an installation because the PS3 drive was too slow?
Mark Cerny was saying that some things shouldn't be done over the cloud.
Things like Forza 5 is basic and it seems like a gimmick use of a cloud, unless I am mistaken. But I'm sure over games will take advantage of it further down th eline.
I don't think we have much to worry about. Apart from sports games I don't think any of the character models/environments would make us relate to real life.
Sports games sort of reminds us of reality which is why when we see these realistic character models they look lifeless. We kinda judge them differently. However, games like MGS/Battlefield/Resident Evil etc... we don't compare them to humans yet.

I think you made a big mistake. EU has a better plus library for PS3 content compared to the US. But I think that vita US has better than EU.
I think microsoft is great for the economy of video games.
MS is not a small time company, they know and understand how to make money. Any opportunity to make money they will. They invest in a lot and look where it got them. 360 was head to head with the PS3(even arguably ahead) when the original xbox was a complete failure.
Sony wanted to push too much of their own technology which caused the PS3 to cost so much at launch.
I mean they too 2 big risks, the cell and blu-ray. One was succesful and the other wasn't. Worth the risk, but too some consumers it didn't mean anything to them and just bumped up the price.
I mean cell was great, but it wasn't really made for gaming. Money could have been spent elsewhere.

I also think that MS atleast revealed some games that are coming down the line.
Sony has yet to announce anything. we still getting PS3 games. I want to move on to PS4. I want more games tba. I don't care when it gets released, as long as it is anounced and maybe we can hope it will be out in its first year.
It's basically like a live feed/updates similar to facebook.

And how did you get so many agrees?
Hopefully they will show all the games their first party is working on. I mean the current launch line-up from sony isn't big enough.

Agreed, I would have preferred the Vita one. PS3 got a decent list but I'm not really interested in those games and the vita list looks boring.

I kinda understand what the author is talking about, but I guess he doesn't understand that different people want different things.
I am looking forward to PS4's streaming functions as well as the option to take over others games. It would be similar to a virtual living room when people used to pass countrollers around when playing a single player game.
Rock band was a pretty good game.
I did enjoy The bouncer alot.
Winback was pretty decent.
DDR was enjoyable.
The other games I haven't played, but definitely isn't a guilty pleasure and I'm pretty sure most people would admit to playing these games.

I dont see the problem of needing live to play f2p.
I do see problem if you have to play subscription + live to play an mmo though. Same as Netflix or any other streaming service needing Live... Kinda annoying
not a big fan of free to play games, but i guess its better than not playing a game at all.

Someone did explain to me F5's implementation of cloud commputing. But to me it sounds too similar to ghost characters.
But to be honest, if MS can get third parties to implement their cloud systems then it would be cool to compare to the PS4 to actually see the difference in AI/whatever they claim to do.
