i think dc and ps2 is better than ps3 and 360.
ive put more hours on those 2 consoles than i have on ps3 and 360. exckuding ffxiv game timr. i spent way to manybhours on that.
lol... not the news sony wants. actually kinda shows why ms wanted to push for that drm thing.
sony and ms needs to find a way to tackle this rent thing without possing off gamers with over the top drm. maybe sony needs to make psnow for ps4 games. a720p stream version for rent would be perfect for those people that normally rent games and dont buy.
i know i shouldn't really comment since i havent played the game. but isn't having bots in multiplayer weird? isnt these random occurances what competitive multiplaers hate?
6v6 or 8v8 isnt a bad thing. people just seem to think that more online gamers at one time mean better game.
outdated source engine is ok, i mean cod uses an outdated quake iii engine. graphics look ok tbh, not next gen but isnt bad to look at. stable 60fps is what they are aiming...
havent played titanfall yet and most likely will never play it. i do think that 6v6 multiplayer can work but only in right situation. having bots just seem stupid.
its great what they did with source engine, but as you said it is outdated.
however, these guys are used to working with old engines right? i mean cod uses the quake iii engine which is even older(i think).
with the way the game looks, i am surprised it doesnt run a higher resolution. i kno...
the wall they are leaning on looks alot better aswell, not sure if it is bumpmappin or if its a completely different wall
many people didnt get to buy the first one. it gives them chance to buy it this time round. not every ps4 owner has a ps3. also tlou came out late. some ps3 gamers may have stopped gaming on that cnsole.
another point is that 60fps is not something that would go under the graphics whore category.
@sly-lupin
i agreed with your message. sony didnt learn that taking bc will mean they could get gamers to pay full price for repurchasing old games....
an upgrade would have been nice. but that doesnt really have to happen.
i do think that sony or publishers should start giving gamers a crossbuy option. i wouldnt mind payin an extra £10-15 for a vita version of a ps3/4 game. obviously i dont mean the last of us, but i am saying for multiplat games.
backwards compatibility was never going to happen. not for ps3 games anyway.
its also a shame that tomb raider got attacked so much because of rleasing the definitive version and nothing is being said about tlou
its a shame that all these things that make mgs a mgs game is all the things that are kinda holding the mgs game back.
the long cutscenes and codec calls kinda stop the game from flowing. but i do have to say that those things are what we love about the series. i want more codec calls and more long cutscenes.
the problem with hayter is that he probably cannot make snake voice and do facial expressions at the same time. he probbly isnt as expressive aswell.
though i do think that kojima just wanted a bigger name to push mgs series to a wider and morecinematic feel.
old snake definitely conveyed more emotions than ground zeroes snake. but thats because hardly anything happened in ground zeroes. phantom pain is where it wouls show if keifer will pull a great performa...
agree and disagree with a few points.
when compared with movies and tv it doesn't compare. but younhave to remember that video games need to mix in gameplay. for a movie or tv show to have so much gameplay/action scenes would be impossible.
interactive kinda games like heavy rain could do it brilliantly though. but get a better writer and it should work well.
mgs was suppose to be a typical action movie, it doesnt need subtlety. i also th...
i disagree. there shouldnt be a remake if they not gonna change the original.
the original was basicallya top down game that didnt really need to be 3d. gameplay mechanics is outdated and if remade would be changed dramatically therefore the whole game needs to be changed.
but i do want to say that mgs does not need to be remade. twin snakes was a remake and it gameplay ruined the remake imo.
i wonder what parts are actually canon in portable ops. wish kojima would make it clear before i play phantom pain.
true. most people played mgs, but havent played the original 2 yet.
Wouldn't really cacll it double dipping, but tbh it wouldn't have sold so much if the game was released on the PS4 and PS3 at the same time. It's strange but there are many people who don't buy the lesser version knowing that there is a better version available.
@thehitman
sony could have easily sold it later.
half agree.
if i didnt own a ps3 and only a ps4. i would still want visual improvements.
I do find it surprising that no one is complaining about the price though. TR got a lot for no apparent reason.
I have the game on PS3, I may consider this game once it goes on sale digitally.
A bit too expensive for me, looks like this game was targeted for people who didn't play it the first time round.
I wanted to know how many of the million were digital.
good news i suppose. I wonder how many were sold digitally.
dont care for jak since i kinda missed those games. got those on vita so time to catch up when i have time.
crash coming back would be great, but i dont think it would be a naughty dog game therefore maybe no announcements for that from them. same as uncharted vita, probably handed to another studio so they probably wouldnt announce that.
so whats left is
uncharted trilogy
last of us hd info
uncharted 4 info ...
