Not picking on you, just feel like I got something to say about your comments.
Gtaiv was a good game, was innovative with the mobile phone thing, though it did get annoying. Was a great game with a great story, my personal favourite. Added cover mechanics in an open world game.
I believe at that time it deserved those ratings. But sadly was a game that shows its age. Others have learnt the good and bad from it.

I'm guessing this conference is based solely for European developers. Sometimes it just makes it easier when you exclude the rest. Some development may just be concentrating on the eu market and don't want to be overshadowed by anything else.

The simple answer is no it doesn't. Just because teenagers or young adults do it and also plays video games does not makebthat related.
It's more of a social reason why people do it. At that age 16-24(?) it's socially accepted to do it. Anytime after it, people kind of have that 'just grow up' attitude where it's almost seen as pitiful.

Mark cerny has that honest look. You can tell he had passion when announcing ps4 and since he was practically working on that project full time I'm not surprised he had memorised everything
The more features it has, the better it is. I'm just wondering if there is a catch to it. Such as, if you want to release game from using Dev kit then it has to be exclusive? Not like that is a bad thing though.

Well, it's never a good thing to have competition for games being released.
However, the core audience's for each genre should be enough to keep sales healthy.
To be honest, the design of the original PlayStation doesn't really match other Sony products. Looked more like a cheap toy compared to their tvs, vhs player, hi-fi, Walkmans.
The ps2 and psp however looked way more classy and deserving of the Sony name.
Sounds like it is more similar to PlayStation live.
Viewers don't actually control player but control certain aspects if a game.
Don't think anyone cares about motion controls. It's not Mario kart. Not even sure people playing Mario kart even liked it.
Anyway, if I can maybe use motion control to look slightly to the left or eight then it may be useful.

i also dont see why people complain about paying to quicken the grinding process. people spend hours and hours grinding on a paid game anyway.

considering that this gen they didnt have to say that they were risking it all with a brand new multithread processor that will cost us billions along with a new disk format also cost billions and the console would sell at $599 but we would still be taking a los on the hardware side.
im pretty sure this ps4 was a lot easier to pitch.
can we stop getting these articles saying it was based on devs input. we fucking knew that before the ps4 came out. all devs said they were involved with 4-8gb. why is there a sudden surge of these articles recently?

it is just console owners who think f2p is bad? i hardly ever hear pc gamers or old school pc gamers complain.
i mean pc gamers have been playing cs for years and that was a bloody mod.
I strongly believe cerny and his ps4 speech last year was what Sony needed. Someone who looks and sounds honest and isn't a super bigtime ceo.
