I probably get a lot of disagrees for this, but here it goes. Open world games tend to have a lesser storyline to linear games.
Zelda storylines have lacked a little therefore an open world should suit it. However, I think they should have gone for a more linear epic storyline.
My opinion is based purely on open world games storylines compared to linear games and so far linear games had better story.

definitely agree with your view. gonna nitpick for no reason whatsoever, but infamous and transistor is not really launch day.
How I personally feel about this article. Well he never mentioned anything about Launch Day games and was walking about Infamous which was released months after launch.
Now How I feel about launch day/window consoles? Games wise, it wasn't anything amazing. graphics didn't wow me. SNES, megadrive, PSone, N64, DC, PS2, GC, 360, PS3, GBA, DS, PSP, Vita. Those were the ones that made me thing WOW when I bought it. Wii was fun in a whole different level, Xbox was ok.

havent played it. but i think everyone thinks origin is more like an expansion pack. not enough new assets were put into this. but i guess they stroyline content was enough for it to be a retail version.
i also think that origins played it too safe and lost a little originality. if origins had the rocksteady name then it may have been criticised for being the same or isome may have said, why change a winning formula.

No, that is illegal and is actually what is wrong about the internet.
I am not saying S-E is right, but this is what happens with any fan made content. Either not start with translations at all or take the risk. S-E most likely wont allow it from the start, but asking for permission would be the best way to go.
I mean Konami allowed others to recreate a 3D Metal Gear game. Policenauts was fan translated andd as far as I am concerned its still available.
no, normally for fan translated games, its the ethical thing to buy the original. Therefore being able to rip the game. However, its just easier to donwload the iso, patch the game and the play on a CFW PSP.

its a shame people think psone games look similar to what they see on emulators. I think most people should pull out their old ps1 and play to see what games really looked like.
Internet people never played PS1 so they don't know that games look nothing like that. They play on emulators which has made ps1 games look that much better.
