Square enix has been selling ffversusXIII clothes. If I am correct they did that for 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if they did another line when xv gets released

advertising costs are huge which is why we are getting less and less big publishers. its a high risk high return and we see the results from games like cod and gta. its also a reason why we are constantly getting sequels instead of new ip.
i personally feel that games need a new revenue stream, probably add in a few product placements as long as it doesnt seem too ridiculous. can't be 100% sure but i am guessing ryu ga gotoku(yakuza) makes most of their money through that...
if you dont like these business practices, but still want to have fun with the game then do the thing that hurts publishers the most, rent it or buy 2nd hand.
probably hurt the industry in the long run and we will have more publishers aiming for digital releases/dlc so that trade in would become non existant but we are greedy and should only look at the best interest for ourselves when buying things.
i guess if you are looking at it just for gaming than it will be expensive. not even sure what it can do for traditional console games anyway.
if you think about a pc or mobile phone strapped to your head, than those prices will make more sense.
lol. obviously it will cost more than a games console. its a hardware device that needs ro make money off the hardware. games console makes money from both hardware and software.
anyway, price would probably be similar to an iphone6.
4th place isnt that bad considering a mario version of puzzle and dragons was 1st and the other 2 was a dragon quest game.
i was upset about no combat when i first played, but. it kinda was a good idea since i never liked any of the combat from team silent. the only combat i didnt dislike was the original, but that was because no one really figured out 3rd person combat especially with no dual analog.
had mixed feelings when i first played this. controls felt great but the running sequence were annoying with the wii controller.
no combat, but in a sense the combat in silent hill was never really any good.
only danger parts is the running sections, so walking around would never be scary.
i guess i could nitpick a lot of the stuff. i think most people dislike the wii control on running sections and it required too much wagging around. however, shattered memor...
spiritual sequel my ass. looks like crap and designs are meh... with tech we have right now graphics should easily surpass dc level but this doesnt look right and the cel shading is just off.

i tried avoiding anything avengers age of ultron for a while, stayed away from rumoured characters etc... but that became impossible with posters and ads everywhere these last few weeks. even the htc trailer that showed in cinema before the movie started spoilt a part of the movie for me.
it wouldnt make me lose interest in the game, but i may lose interest in that level if i see it too many times. mgsIV act 1 had parts where i rushed through because i knew that level. didnt bother exploring it enough to actually find out how big that actual map was and how many different paths to take.
raiden and camp/gekkos also lost impact but thats kinda a spoiler thing, well not really spoiler since they kinda showed the whole thing but you get what i mean.
Its mainly kinda made for people who don't buy digital dlc.
Basically in a years time, arkham knights won't be on store shelves unless it is second hand, wb makes nothing from that sale but can make $40 on season pass from 2nd hand buyers. They can just rereleass the game again for $60 on store shelves and digital store.

Ps1 had pretty strong competition. Saturn had the best 2d graphics. And n64 produced better 3d.
Ps1 could produce more polygons, but the n64 was more efficient and didn't need as many. Would like to note that not every Japanese developer was developing games on the ps1, they liked thebsaturb which was why it was very popular in Asia.
DC came out at the end of ps1 days and did pretty well, but ps2 came out and it was just too powerful compared to the DC. G...

i guess if it stays free to play then its no harm bringing it to every console.
i rather have mistwalker develop another game similar to lost odyssey. takehiko inoue is one of my favourite mangaka and his art style was great in that game. the short stories in that game was amazing aswell, i never thought i would get interested in reading words that pop up on screen, that worked better than most of the cutscenes to be really honest.
probably still bitter about sony because of the final fantasy movie. that put a big fat red mark on his career.
It's kinda obvious. WiiU is kinda hard to develop for when you think about the hardware limitations. Would be a pain in the ass when they constantly improve their engine.
If wiiU sold more or had better software sales then that might have been a different story.
