they had a better holiday season last year didnt they? wouldnt be surprised if that happened again this year in NA. they have Halo & TR available at that time and PS4 doesnt have a big AAA exclusive.

demon souls 2 is basically dark souls.
it was also a FU to sony in a sense. they developed an exclusive for son and one for ms. the sony one actually got popular worldwide despote the ms one made for international market. anyway dark souls was an IP rip off. would be similar to something like insomniac making a 3d action platformer similar to ratchet and clank but bypassing sony because they own that specific ip.

MGS4 was a great finale and closed off the series in a super nostalgic way. ocelot battle was great. Metal gear battle wasnt fun but the experience was cool. Raiden being badass was also quite cool.
Phantom Pain could be the best MGS game but it wont have the feel of MGS4 even though that game mechanically felt really old.
Level 5 has always been a good developer for me. They make good games but nothing that I will call fantastic. I have yet to complete a Level5 game because I did get bored of those games.
Fursthest I got to completing a game was WKC2, completed the 1st game that came with it but didnt touch 2
Looks interesting, have to wait and see what the game is actually about and if its any fun. procedural generated games can be a little risky but by the way they are bragging about their engine than it seems like they have that under control.
I can't really see how it will dissapoint. I think 1st party wise they only have tearaway and uncharted that has yet to be released.

The main complaint is for completionists. I am guessing the hardcore FF fans wont like this because it makes end game near impossible due to incredibly rare item drops. I have played FFX PAL version but strangely havent played it to the extent to max out everything unlike VIII & XII.
Could the RNG be abused like ffxii? I haven't played enough of x to know how it works in this game
I don't have the ps3 or the ps4 version to compare it with, but the vita version is great.
I'm not sure if its the screen that is making it look better though. Just a small screen which hides a lot of detail so we can't see how old the game actually is.
E3 can easily become irrelevant but as long as they keep up what they are doing, publishers will continue to do their thing there and we as gamers can hope to get actual news this time of the year instead of getting links to tweets from developer X talking about topic Y.

However, it can be very easy for big publishers to completely ignore thisand do their own thing. Not really sure what Nintendo does at E3, but presentation/conference wise they have kinda abandoned it.
If you live in US and not too far from where E3 venues than I guess it can still be a thing, for people outside the country we hardly care, as long as we get the livestreams/recording of the conference than its ok.

i disagree with polyphony having their head up their ass but it would push them to be more competitive. they seem to have no clear direction, they are perfectionist when they create new car models yet they have classic models which makes no sense what so ever.
it is the first racing sim on the ps4 so i am guessing GT fans were waiting for this game.
i guess it could be pretty exciting for racing sim fans, there is a new game out that would compete directly with gt/forza, before it was in a sense only those 2 games and if you only had 360/ps3 than you didnt even have a choice for which one to buy.
the problem wasnt really with the content creators though. it was with the crazy internet people.
lots of content creators that made syrim mods and had retired from the scene came back an added an update to put on steam. not sure if they would have carried on or if they would have stopped there though.

Witcher 3 looks amazing, dont have a gaming PC or a a PC that could max out the game to see how different the game is from the original released footage.
