Are you serious? Not saying he's a bad dude, but he lied multiple times about many things and intentionally hid a lot of the missing features before release
I turned MSAA down to 2 in game and turned up FXAA and AA in my nvidia control panel and now the game runs perfectly for me.
And that was a massive mistake, let's hope XV is everything it's trying to be.
My only gripe is them not working on a pc release at the same time as the console release
If you don't want it, don't buy it. Stop whining
just in time to cancel mine
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I enjoyed 20 or so hours of the game, but it's quickly become rinse and repeat and the fact that Hello Games lied and misrepresented the game up until the 11th hour is a fact and not an opinion. Here's hoping they put out some good quality free updates that get the game closer to what we were promised.
Here's hoping..
If they add in everything they false advertised before the game's launch they might avoid a lawsuit. I'd be happy with ships you can walk around in and base buildings sounds ok. I was one of the biggest defenders of this game and Sean Murray, but honestly he lied quite a bit and the writing was on the wall with their review embargoes.
I'm happy if you're getting enjoyment out of this tech demo. I got 20 hours out of it and I had some pretty good moments, but...
I'll pick this up only if it comes to the vive. Not really wanting to invest in two VR systems..
If they add an additional $30 worth of content via the planned updates. I'll be happy and I'll come back to the game then. I put 20 hours in and I'm pretty bored of doing the same things over and over. The soundtrack is amazing though.
You know what I meant... Obviously I meant a checkpoint system.
It was originally supposed to be persistent saving similar to diablo 3. I was pretty shocked when I started playing and there was checkpoint system. That's what I'm on about ;) This current system lends itself to the whole no real multiplayer theory even more so.
This game wasn't even supposed to have a save system
This game is lacking a ton of advertised features and gets repetitive. But I've yet to have a single crash on the PC version. They said they were going to be adding a ton of free content via updates, but I just read something about them being open to paid content. I don't know what believe now. I'm fine with paid content after they get in all the advertised features for free. I was a big advocate for this game, but I'm starting to question some of the business decisions and t...
This game runs almost completely flawlessly on my system and even better with the latest beta patch. I'm not defending the performance though - I totally believe a lot of people are having issues. Arkham Knight also runs flawlessly on my rig.
For NMS Disabling gsync definitely boosts the performance quite a bit though.
Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I'm loving the game as well. Unlocking new stuff and grinding is fun for me, but I really like exploring and finding new things in the universe. Not to mention basebuilding and more are coming in free updates.
A lot of people are being incredibly unfair to this game and it's amazing that such a small team could create something like this. Imagine the space-faring combined with a game like Mass Effect or Fallout!
Interesting. I'm running in 4k on full settings on a 1080gtx. While the performance could be better.; I'm definitely not having these issues at all.
This is confirmed to not be true
I had fun for about 15-20 hours. This is the most disappointing game in years, but a lot of it is due to the impossible hype and all the lying from Hello Games. Here's hoping they do a 180 and give new life to the game with free updates so people actually get what they paid for. I still can't see why people are defending Sean Murray and saying he never lied when there are hundreds of instances of him saying something was going to be in the game and then obfuscating the truth before re...
