it seems people don't understand, order will be 1080p just as bluray movies are released in 1080p. i.e. if you have a 1080p tv, the image will properly fit and will not the stretched. A pixel in the game, will map to a pixel on your tv. 900p (i.e. ryse son of rome) was stretched/upscaled onto your 1080p tv. So a pixel rendered would be blended/stretched onto 1 or more other pixels.
With that out the way, the devs in the order want...
hundreds of thousands of xbone ones, where it's individual parts and the final product itself were all handled by machines, hand, plane, boat, truck, skids, etc... there are so many points where something could have gone wrong that's outside of any 1 company's hands
There is always an expected defect percentage for any product... whether you're buying 100 hard drives, cars, pcs, laptops, phones... expect that 5% could have problems. dont expect any different f...
cod ghosts and titanfall both do not look like graphical powerhouses... i expect them both to run 1080p 60fps on both xbone and ps4.

There's nothing wrong if rockstar wants to sexyfy their GTA ads with a pic of a hot girl chewing bubble gum, or a studio creating DOA, or... a very reputable franchise wanting to have a sexy character
personally i'm glad there's some eye candy... something extra I'm used to that comes with metal gear's great games!
misleading title... the dev does not compare learning the ps4 vs learning the ps3... it only explains that it was easy to plug the ps4 into their engine with little to no learning curve...
however... i assume that, over time, they'll have to continue tweaking their engine to take use of ps4s custom architecture. As long as PS4 exclusives like Killzone look better, they'll always have work to do.
This means we still don't know. What we do know is:
- other games are coming out at 1080p @ 30fps, or 1080p @ 60fps, or both (sp vs. mp modes)
- EA is still working on optimizations (another 2 to 2.5 months)
- they are currently demoing older/stable alpha code on dev kits (i think)
Although launch games will not look as good as games coming out after console launch, here's still hoping they can do what most devs are d...

xb1 has tv integrated capabilities (which region and cable provider support is unknown), kinect bundled/required (which is nice to some, but i see it as creepy that it always needs to be on), minified windows os (great for app support, but might take up too much system resources).
ps4 has simplified os (less apps but more resources available to games), optional eye cam, sony world wide studios (this is huge! they've built a team to focus on great games... naughty dog, gue...

This article is about comparing gaming restrictions and limitations between console and pc... and @dedicatedtogamers is right. PCs already have restrictions and limitations that next-gen consoles MIGHT or MIGHT NOT match.

for sony's game console reveal, they spoke for 2 hours about games. Sure they'll talk about entertainment features and all later, but for their game console reveal, it was about games.

A little better than 900p is still wrong... The picture on your TV will be 1080p. I.e a game like Ryse at 900p gets its pixels upscaled/stretched to fill your 1080p TV. The order will not. Each pixel rendered in game will map to its own pixel on your 1080p TV. But... Like 1080p bluray movies... There will be black bars on the top and bottom because of the wide aspect ratio.
What you mean to say is The Order renders a little more pixels than a 900p g...
