Fall of Man didn't have much in the way of competition. The early ps3 adoptors had nothing else to play so they bought it. The franchise went downhill from there in terms of sales.
Killzone is a 3 million sales per game franchise, you're kidding yourself with that 5 million.

Yes! Thank you! This guy gets it. Some games are just too big for handheld gaming and games like Limbo and Braid would be perfect for Vita. I really don't want to play Red Dead Redemption on the small screen but games like Rayman Origins are exactly what gaming on the go is about.

Sony wanted to sell 10 million Vitas from April last year until March this year. They have reduced that number by millions 3 times. So I'm gonna say yes, the Vita needs saving.

Meh! So far the ps3 exclusives that are deserving of exclusive status are Ni No Kuni and nothing else. Rest of them are pretty meh or so-so. Ascension, Sly Cooper and Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk have not impressed. More quantity than quality lately.
With a 41% hold on the market, I'd say everybody's down by at least 25%
