If the game plays great and is full of suspense then it's a win for me. I think the most damaging factor for Alan Wake is the hype they have been given since the game was first announced. The game looks good to me and that is what matters to me.
This title is getting me ecited for some old school play.
Nothing makes a fighting game more fun than seeing chicks, hot chicks fight.
That it rivals the feelings I had when I first played Resident Evil. I love games that are made to scare and I certainly hope that this game scares me.
UC2 was so awesome that I knew they would not stop with that game. UC3 will be bigger, better and more bad a$$ if you ask me.
And playing some of the retro games helps us do that. Just because they are not as awesome in some ways as the games today, they still have their own flare and have added much to the gaming world. We cannot forget those games and for those of us who grew up with them, we will more than likely be the last to truly appreciate them for what they are and what they were then.
So would millions of others but I am sure this is not what they had in mind. It makes me wonder why they have yet to release a MH game on the PS3 that truly exemplifies next gen gaming.
It is pretty tough for any company to bring content to the EU due the taxes and other restrictions imposed on the companies for doing so. Don't you guys have a VAT of some sort? Is it true that the average tax payer over there is paying about 65 to 70 percent of their income in taxes?
Wipeout HD: full 3D game (not including WipEout HD Fury)
PAIN: 3 x 3D episodes + 1 x 2D tutorial
Super Stardust HD: full 3D game (not including DLC)
MotorStorm Pacific Rift: single level 3D demo
SSHD! Yeah baby, that game will rock in 3D! And Wipeout, that one is self explanitory. Can't wait to get my hands on these!
That would mean I would have to set my drink down and that ain't going to happen.
He needs to tone it down just a notch. I like his attitude towards games in general but the titles and articles he does need to just be toned down a bit.
I just want it to look good no matter what platform I play it on. I personally play more on the PC and PS3 but will buy any port on the 360 if it is the better game. In this case, it sounds like the PC will be my choice but glad to hear that the PS3 is looking great.
Glad to see they are stepping their game up with some great and new looking graphics. Can't wait to get my hands on that there title.
Sorry, but when you are the leads in THE biggest online franchise ever, you have every right to be considered one of the best. I consider Bungie to be great and they hang their hat on a single franchise so it's no surprise that these guys can do the same.
How a game does in retail however does not mean it is good or bad, it just means it sells well or not. In the end, this will be a good game for those who like the series. If it sells well or not, it is going to be fun for those who want to get back into Sam's shoes and beat the crap out of some bad guys.
And all the users here that are for banning guns are just as stupid. Sure, take them guns from the folks that obey the law and you still have those with guns that don't obey the law. You people amaze me and y'all make me wonder if you have any brothers or sisters still livin'.
The core for me is gaming online with my buds. That is all I need and anything else is just a want. And let me tell you, the extras they are proposing look pretty cool but thankfully the online gaming remains free.
And with the release of DX11 there will be even more. The issue is not always hardware but the resources for PC development. Naughty Dog does have a hand up in Uncharted 2 but games like Crysis do make console games look a little behind. The issue is that the games that look like Crysis are far and few between and so to compare the two platforms seems a little silly.
We all need to agree that console games are looking great and getting better as are the games on the PC. Both p...
I have to say that if the current gen lasts a few more years then I can sy a sy of relief. Times are tough for most right now and to save some cash on new consoles then I will be able to continue to afford the new games.
The current consoles are still bringing out some great games and I hope that they continue for a few more years.
Not taking sides as I try to stay unbias between Sony and Microsoft but the power of the Cell Processor is quite impressive. You should look at the fact sheets on it and see for yourself. It can compute some massive amounts of numbers at any given time. Compared to other processors, it is a beast.
