Would they still require the update to be complete before being able to get online andplay? Will it download while you play online? In the end, I play online all the time and so if this does not DL in the background durring online play then it will really matter not to me.
That quote brings me back a few years. lol
It sure is funny to see those phrases today since BD has become such a home staple. I have actually sold most of my DVD's for BD movies and will have completely converted my DVD library over to BD by the end of this year. Not that I hate DVD but BD is just to pretty and now you can get BD's for cheap everywhere online. Oh, and I only had about 200 movies to work with so it's not been all that hard.
Anywho, it sure is coo...
I am looking forward to a good scare game and this is going to be it. I was thinking that I would have to wait for Dead Space 2 but with Alan Wake coming, it won't be long before I gat my scare on.
I didn't use my Xbox for Netflix. I am one of the unlucky guys who has an Xbox 360 that sounds like a jet engine taking off from my entertainment center when I turn it on. I am also an audiophile and the extra noise tends to bother me when I am watching movies. I use the PS3 due to how quiet the console is. That is not to say that I would never use my 360 but since I two options, I simply chose the one that is quieter for me.
EA has since redeemed themselves and is evident in the games they are currently releasing. It truly started with Dead Space and a few others a couple years ago. Activision however will need to see the light before I buy anything from them at this time. Can't wait for the first Respawn game, I am sure it will knock the ball out of the park.
Kotaku would not have said a single thing. It is common knowledge that Kotaku is hugely bias against Sony and I am not a huge media junkie. I'm just a hick and I know about how bad Kotaku is when it comes to bias and hypocrisy.
The cast and characters in the game compel you to play and the game play is fast and furious. It is a winner in my book and still a part of my library today. I just hope that the game they are working on now is not a lesser game do to limited resources. It seems Sony just did not help them out as much last time in the advertising department. It would have been nice to see more Nariko in the real world. That chick was hot!
This one has deep flaws due to the depth of story and the number of questions asked that never truly get answered. In the end though, the game is amazing and a must play for everybody.
Historically speaking, Sony has lost money on all of their console within the first few years so them losing money ont he PS3 is no big surprise. And as you can see, despite them losing money in the past, they are still around.
I have to admit that this makes sense for the future. It may not be entirely true but what it proposes is that the only true exclusivity or at least the only exclusive that will remain exclusive are those made under a first party development team.
I think that in the future, exclusive will be primarily first party and the company that has the biggest house of first party devs will succeed in having the best of the best in terms of exclusives.
But never use it. I'm married... With Children...
*cries*
They spend 25 to 50 percent of their time b1tching about other sites and fanboys. When you listen to the more professional sites you hear nothing about fanboy rants or how other sites stole their ideas. They keep that for more personal encounters with the individuals. When you listen to the BitBag podcast, you get about 25 percent gaming content and the rest is them talking about other stuff, or b1tching about something or some one.
Isn't it common knowledge these days to just stay away from the "too good to be true" sites? Common sense, oh where for art thou?
This post is so full of fail I don't know where to start. lol
Good for them. Now, what matters to me is the one I have and knowing it has games on it... That is all that matters to me. Why folks get so hung up on MS console sales or any other company for that matter is beyond me.
And your point would be? Just so we are clear, I am not speaking for the rest of the world but I am speaking for me and my wallet. If I feel I have to stop buying a product due to some issue I feel strong about, then I will stop paying. They may not care at all but that is not the point. The point is, they do not get MY support and that is all I can do.
When you Google "Game Jizz"... Sorry, but that is the worst name ever.
If I recall correctly, the PS3 "fat" had a downsize in CPU from 90nm to 60nm and then down to 45nm during its lifetime. A reduction in chip size does not mean a reduction in console size.
That I may never buy another COD game. Whatever West and Zampella come up with will more than likely be better than anything Treyarch or anybody else at Activision could come up with. This may be the final stone in the wall against Activision for me.
I remember when EA was this bad and they turned it around so there is always hope for redemption but at this time, they have gone too far for me.
Ummmmm.... I'm a gamer and I have asked for it. Sorry you feel this way but your feelings are not indicative of the entire gaming population. I have kids and they love the PS3 and Xbox 360. They also love the Wii and find that the motion controls are great for them and they make some family games a blast. To that I ask Sony and MS to bring it on and let me have some of that same fun with my kids using their consoles.
Until the day an MS or Sony rep stops by my house and forces...
