I hope that it is scary and that the game compares in fear to the game Dead Space. I also hope that the game is as good as news outlest report or even better. Looking forward to it.
It is a balance of story, game play and graphics that is rarely unmatched. Hopefully we see that balance in Crysis 2.
Sure wish Apple would take a listen tot his and do the same for their hardware.
I'm sorry but I don't see Jaffe's name under the article submitted by section above. Nor do I see his name at ConnectedConsoles where the article comes from. Why wold you hate on him when all he did was voice an opinion on his twitter? He is not the one you should direct your anger towards, you should direct it towards those who wrote the article or better yet, the one who submitted it here.
I am on the market for a new HDTV and have been looking into the 3D sets. This might have just help make my mind up for me. Can't complain about free updates!
And it is exactly why I asked the questions I did. It is also the reason why I rent games and see them for myself. I have played a number of games that would have been passed up had I gone by a reviews opinion and have passed on some games that were given great scores. In the end, I need to protect myself from spending money on a game that will be something I hate and to do that I rent.
Just as I would with any game out there. The devs can't make a perfect game for everybody, there will always be aspects of every game that we don't like. I will say however that the biggest complaint I have about MW2 is the complainers. Those that constantly complain about the game and yet they continue to play it. If you hate the game so badly then stop playing it. There are other games out there and perhaps the grass is greener on the other side of the fence for you there.
But what if that opinion is part game and part paycheck? What if the game publisher shipped the review guys a few bottles of Patrón and the reviews gained a point or two? How valid is that as an opinion then? To me, it's not valid at that point as the true opinion of the game would be closer to 6 or 7 and yet due to bribes the review is released as a 8 or a 9 and in some cases, a 10. If opinion were all it were then by all means, it would be fine by me but when outside factors weigh in t...

GTFO Kotaku!
Maybe this game is the tech demo behind the tech? Maybe as they work out the bugs for this title they essentially work out the bugs for other titles? I'm just offering up a theory but it seems to me like they show this game so much that it has to be significant for some reason unbeknownst to us.
That I like the old SC games the best. It just seems like they had to pry the bottle away from Ironside this time to get a decent line out of him and the AI in the game is not all that bright. They try to encourage CQB but in the end, you take out one guy and then pop the rest of them in the head with your pistol room after room after room. I think the game will sell well but it is not the Splinter Cell of old that I had come to love so much.
Brings me back to the day when Phil Hartman did the Anal Retentive Chef on SNL. Good god that was frigging hilarious!
Either this is the biggest fail in secret keeping or, this will go down as one of the best viral campaigns to date. I am suggesting too that it is a viral attempt and will be the start to a pretty big hype train.
Never...
So who will play his arm this time?
Games that I would say are more artful than others and the others I would describe as "popcorn" games. Games that let you sit back and enjoy the fun without any true emotional attachments. Same thing with movies. There are some that are artful that grab you and pull you into the story and leave you with wanting more. Others, they simply are there for sheer entertainment and they are the movies you watch once or twice and never go back to. In the end, this guy knows only one media as...
Thanks for that tid bit of information. As it would seem, today is a slow day for real news...
Then you are the same folks that open the phish emails and give all your personal information up to hackers. Truth is folks, if you don't know them, you should not even bother opening the message. Delete it.
So when I see a game on the PC, I don't brush it off as non-existent. I consider the PC as a very viable source for gaming and so to see some of those games on the PC makes me wonder why MS would consider them exclusive. Yeah, it might be "console exclusive" but is that how we play the game these days? overlook the PC when it benefits the console fanboy wars? Come on folks, if you can play the game then lets just call them gamer exclusives and play the damn games.
Each console steadily gets pushed further and further in graphics as the life of that console moves on. It will be no surprise to me to see the current consoles showcasing some awesome graphics in the future as historically speaking they have done so in the past. DX11 is a beast and looks to be awesome for some games and it would be awesome to see features of that working on consoles.
