This is probably true of both consoles. So you must remember that the 360 games also will improve over the years and maybe even the Wii as well.

My launch xbox scratched discs, froze and eventually died.
My TV's have always been Sony and never had any problems. My ps3 runs for weeks on end.....no problems.

Sweet! I'm a console and pc gamer, but I never got used to controller for Fps games. It just plain sucks. Now Sony has USB keyboard/mouse support on Ps3, I think more developers will follow Epics lead and code for optional mouse and keys.
But maybe pro competitions will be paired by control scheme though, as it will be way unfair on the controller foos.

Sigma is decent, but it's not that next gen. All the textures are polished last gen textures and the lighting is vertex, not dynamic and no hdr or bloom so I'm sure that's easier to run at a decent clip.
And yes, I have cared about frame rates for years. Ever since the trusty old SNES used to do 100% smooth games. (those were the days)
