Even though he has explained it. I still would have loved to see this game come to the PS3 where it would shine so, so much more.
I will never buy a handheld. they have never appealed to me in any way. So, I guess I'll miss out on this one.
It really isn't a big deal, people. Anything to downplay any other console other than PS3. I for one don't mind a bit. I'm not so lazy that I can't get up to swap out a disc. I remember a time when everyone was happy to do this because it meant a larger game. Now typically the only people I see complain about this are PS3 owners.
I see no problem here, what is more I no news here...
I'm sorry...but this just doesn't add up. You claim that you're 36 years old with a degree in network Engineering. Yet you make the bold assumption that your home theater cost more money than what the other guy makes in a year. The question is how would you know that? And why would someone who is 36 years of age need to act in an immature, insulting manner over a games console?
You'll have to pardon me if I don't swallow your lush story of the "American Dream" you claim to b...
These prices are wrong?!? Shouldn't they all be cheaper than this?
Yes, it's where the logos are. IGN confirmed it. You can see it in their unboxing video of the PS3 slim.
EDIT: That comment was meant for Jack Burton and the crowd below...
I'll have to get one. The one I had was the gum metal grey MGS4 PS3. It died on me. So...I need a new one and the smaller size is good, plus 120GB for $299.99. Can't pass that up. I know I won't need any more space than that. Shame that there wasn't any news on GT5.
Awesome! I really liked the look of the Blood Dragon armor. Looks very cool.
Actually. What everyone could do, those who own an HDTV is just buy a VGA cable. The picture looks just as good as the HDMI and with the VGA you remove a lot of input lag due to the fact that with VGA there isn't as much post processing.
I don't see why anyone is making a fuss about it. Sony never did this. Unfortunately. You had to pay to HD cables. I still laugh when Sony would say you could enjoy HD right out of the box....Oops.
I know why the textures all popped into place like that. It's because the devs are doing a live stream form their studio. BioWare did a while back with Dragon Age and the pop in at the beginning of the demo was immense.
I spotted a slight difference. In some areas the PS3 looked better and in some areas the 360 appeared to look better. Though I'm not really passing judgement as it is a crappy off screen video.
Yes, the PS3 does appear to be lighter, while the 360 appears to be alomost too dark. I wonder if it's because of the off screen filming?
Anyways. The game looks very good.
Gameraxis.
Themyk got it right. That was the main reason for removing full auto on all the M16 rifles after the A1. The M4 isn't an M16 carbine. It's inception comes from the CAR 15 which was developed during Vietnam as well for use with U.S. LARPs. The M4 was born from this rifle. Though, the CAR 15 was designed form the AR-15 as was the M16. The CAR-15 first came into in 1965.
There are no fully automatic M16 rifles in U.S. military service today. And I doubt that any develo...
Nope, Colbert you got it wrong. A masterkey works like an M203 in that it fits to your M4 the same way, but that's it. A masterkey is a 12 gauge shotgun, holds 4 shells. I've never heard of any Marine or Soldier using one ever. They exist, but aren't used often.
I disagree with you. The reason being. Bushmaster ACR. Actually, this AR was designed by Magpul These guys are amazing when it comes to their products. They make the best. However they don't have the ability to produce that AR on a scale to meet demands. Therefore they outsorced it to Bushmaster. I wonder if we'll get to change up the the ACR. magpul designed it that way with interchangable parts. Look up Magpul Masada, which is the ACR.
That AR alone has me sold, esp. considering tha...

Yes, the Mk.14 EBR is a modified version of the M14. The only M16 that is capable of full auto is the M16/A1. It isn't used in service any longer. Most likely it will be the M16/A4 which has two fire rates. Single and burst.
As for the H&k XM8 it was canceled as someone has said. Though our U.S. Special Forces used it in the field for testing. It didn't make the cut. The FN SCAR or as it should be refered to as the Mk.16, or Mk.17 depending on which round t...
I didn't know about this. Awesome. I was wondering if they ever would. Now to see if they'll release MGS2 and MGS3 on PSN too.
Bugs aside. This guy probably doesn't like Military sims much. Perhaps, he expected this game to play like CoD. I don't know.
I don't have enough PC to run this, so I'll have to wait for OpFlash DR this fall on XBox 360.
I wouldn't hold my breath on that IP if I were you. Since they're now working on SW: The Old Republic, you can expect Bioware to stick with it. KOTOR III, will probably never happen. Obsidian may pick it up, but doubtful.
Perhaps, you missed the part of the article that said "new IP" not Mass Effect 2.
Though, I can see your point in a way, I still disagree with you Gump.
Mass Effect 2 has a 99.5 % chance at being a AAA title. Look how well Mass Effect did despite the technical issues with the game. Bioware claims they have rid the game, Mass Effect 2, of these technical issues. Not to mention that you can clearly see in this early build that the visuals surpass Mass Effect by q...
This game just doesn't get enough face time. I'm excited for it. Sounds good to me. These developers are good, imo.
