I have never stopped playing the Splinter Cell games over the years especially after all of them were added to Xbox back compat and 4K enhanced for the X1X and Series consoles. I was hoping for a new SC not a remake, as it is my favorite all-time series so I am happy for any new SC news. Ubi is my favorite dev love all of their games. 250 hours into Valhalla, love that game, and I am fine with micro transactions. If you are not don't pay.
I will jump back in when a save or checkpoint system is added. If not, there is too much to play on my backlog list.
I am more into arcade racers but will check this out.

Completely agree, as a black gamer since 1979 we don't see our people represented in a positive light too often in media in general, especially games. We usually are sports, athletes, or thugs, so what this author states many us, at least this black gamer agree with.

I am curious, wouldn't releasing bigger console storage undermine the Seagate Expansion cards? I mean a 2TB card and a 512GB cards just released, so why would MS released larger internal console storage?

I completely agree but I think MS wanted to stay in the $299 range for price. Maybe they will improve the S in a refresh in the future.
X1X is one of my all-time favorite consoles, and is a beast of a console even by todays console standards. I thought it would become the baseline this gen console. If MS could refresh the Series S to have this gen speed, with the X1X res or at least 1440P 60FPS, at $299, the Series S would be much more appealing to most. I get the S is running higher quality assets compared to the X1X, but the average gamer probably is overlooking that and only looking at res. So far, this gen the X1X game...

I have a Series X, but the S is doing well, probably because the other consoles are probably not available in mass like the Series S is, and $299 is a nice price.
