Got plenty of space
Series S in my view is a fine console for what it does. It is performing as an entry level console for this gen at $299. I have a Series X and PS5 and own all previous gen consoles, and I was always baffled why MS would release the X1X last gen which was a beast especially when compared to the orig model, and is one of my favorite consoles and not expand on that this gen for the base model.
My thought process was could they have updated the X1X with this gens CPU GPU, 6 T...
I sure hope it doesn't end as Capcom has been on this amazing RE run, with the remasters in odd years and the remakes in the other years. It's the Capcom from the arcades, 8 and 16-Bit days again. Just fantastic.
I completely agree. I find it interesting that for many instead of just congratulating Sony on their success they have to always find ways to bash MS over the head. As a multi-console gamer who enjoys my Xbox, Sony and Nintendo games, and enjoy what they each bring to the table, I just can't get with those who just want to take every chance to bash MS every chance they get but when Sony bought studios, that was fine. No patience for that.
No surprise.
I just completed it and loved every minute of it. Will start again when they release the New Game + mode. Loved it.
This deal is going to happen.
I have two 1 TB & one 2TB Segate cards for my Series X. I agree with most, either MS needs to open up the card expansion to all storage makers or make some sort of adapter that would allow use of current SSD drives equivalent to what is being used in the PS5.
I think each gamer will determine what the purpose of gaming means to them, and one or a few doesn't determine what that should be for another. There is no one size fits all as far as I am concerned.
I don't expect a new Nintendo console until end of 2023/2024. Looking at Nintendo's recent history I don't see them making a separate handheld and a dedicated traditional console. Nintendo has found another magic man in the bottle which is the hybrid model and given the success of the Switch I expect them to stick with that, meanwhile milking every nickel out of it in terms of sales, which they should, imo. Even if they released a traditional console given their recent history, th...
Looking at Nintendo's recent history I don't see them making a separate handheld and a dedicated traditional console. Nintendo has found another magic man in the bottle which is the hybrid model and given the success of the Switch I expect them to stick with that. Even if they released a traditional console given their recent history, there is no way it would be on par with the PS5 or Series X. I expect the next console in whatever form it is will be closer to the X1X & PS4 Pro...
Awesome. Can't wait. I have loved what Capcom has been doing releasing remakes, remasters, and new games in off years.
Many would agree, but as a near 50 year old I still like the Nintendo franchises which is why I have a Switch.
But, the Nintendo games seems to run fine on it.
To be fair the Switch was outdated the day it came out.
I was in the rage quit category. Will revisit sometime in the future, or not....
No, it is Nintendo, so I expect a minor upgrade and that will be good enough to play the Nintendo games. If it is a hybrid it will sell no matter what.
I will probably go with the Sony Pro controller over the PDP Victrix & Razer Wolverine controller which I just returned. I have to have vibration and love the haptic feedback. Why those other controllers don't even have basic vibration at $179.99 and $250 baffles me as this is part of the experience of playing games on the PS5. As far as compared to the Elite 2 for my Series X, I am still shocked by how much battery life that controller has as I am getting at least 30 hours out of ...
The Switch showed its age the day it came out, so is anyone really surprised. I bought it to play my favorite Nintendo franchises that you can't play anywhere else, so I am fine with the Switch as it is and let's be real, Nintendo is not releasing another console as long as it sells well in its current form.

It is now 1/2 of what it costed me when Sony first unlocked the storage bay. That is a good price if you need more space.
