I don't know... a lot of kids have real pets and they're far more entertaining and loveable than virtual ones. Mike tyson has a tiger, so someone, SOMEWHERE has a tiger puppy for their child.
The beta program is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Zipper are just CONSTANTLY giving. Really you get the impression they care SO much for their community they'd work on it even if they weren't being paid.

This seems interesting. Thing I noticed though was it's a very linear, game-like proccess.
You can't talk to milo at ANY time, it's done in intervals, it IS a game it has a start and it has a finish, but the bits where it asks you to talk to him could be done VERY simply. It's a case of detecting voice levels so if at the part where you have to "encourage" him you started shouting he'd probably have a pre-determined response where he cries or wh...

Very interesting that they're incorporating the DLC into the game from the start. I guess even if you have it on PC/360 it's worth also buying it on PS3 because it'll be a much more complete experience.
I'm not sure that comment is any better. Calling a person who enjoys his or her PS3 a "sh*t stain" is really going TOO far.

Glad to see someone else on N4G follows GreenManGaming. It's a service I hope takes off. I think they'd have a shot at taking down D2D at least if Capsule was a bit more like XFire/Steam, with a friends list and stuff. Oh well, guess you can always add the game to steam anyway. :)

Is this the first time play-mag has been to N4G because really, when there isn't a huge conference on, the BIG news is always 1000 degrees. Bioshock Infinite was announced on N4G WAAAAAAYYY before it went to IGN or even CVG (who seem to be pretty damn fast).
There ARE niche articles that make it to the front. As a contributor I will only report an article if it's flamebait or if it is badly edited, and I'll admit I love my PS3. But that won't stop me approving...
I do agree with that actually. The game is so photorealistic and beautiful sometimes you just want to take in the whole view. Option to remove HUD would be welcome and fairly easy to do.

@Captain Jack's right. I forget who did a preview of kinect but they said the same thing. You won't hear this from : IGN, Kotaku, or 1UP though. They've got to defend the 360 with every ounce of strength they have.
I've heard a believable rumour that BioWare will call the first one "Mass Effect : Genesis", make some changes to it, and release that as well. But that IS just a rumour and they'd HAVE to announce it this year with a release date before/ON the same day as Mass Effect 2.
Either way I am not too fussed, I have a ATI HD4850 a quad core phenom II and 4 gigs of ram. Played the original Mass Effect to death. :)
You know that the PS3 would outsell the 360 in ONE WEEKEND if they priced it right. And no I'm not saying lower than $299. That's reasonable for what you're getting. Actually, it's more than "reasonable" it's a BARGAIN. BUT, the UK and Europe are getting SHAFTED with this whole $299 = £299/€299. Because $299 is actually £191.
Sell the PS3 in the UK at that price.. heck, add £9 if you want! £199 PS3 and I'd buy my brother o...
