Burger, there are more to graphics than just resolution and framerate, yeah if you stand directly in front of your 70 inch tv than yeah you might notice some jaggies. If the game has very impressive looking lighting affects and great looking textures and a beautiful art style, everything else is just extra. Ryse looked better in its release build. Sunset Overdrive is looking better than the reveal trailer. A game can be 720p and 30fps and still be considered a very next gen looking game.
Its not gonna happen, but you can still keep it on the list of games coming this year and next year and the year after that so you can make it look like the PS4 has some games.
It depends, does the PS community behave like 12 year olds like they do on this site. If so, then it wouldnt be worth it.
John Doe, lets look at the numbers that matter ok. Lets look at the Xbox 360 consoles sold from Nov-Feb of 06. The X1 is beating that number and is likely even beating the PS3 in that same time period as well.

Abizzel- Black tusk isnt just Gears and they didnt say they cancelled whatever they were working on. They arent going to be another 343i. From what I heard they are supposed to be another Naughty Dog like studio where they can work on multiple projects at a time. They might be small now but by next year I predict they are gonna be huge.
If this is true, I dont want it to be just an HD port of Halo 2. There was a couple of levels that were cut from 2 and I would like to see some it. I think there was a level called forerunner tank where the would explain the events after the level Regret and after Arbie fell into the hole. Because they have blu ray they can put a lot of other stuff that they couldnt before. Maybe even base some of the levels from the books also.
Only on N4G that you get more disagrees for stating the obvious lol. Its not like you said that Halo is the best FPS or Forza is the best driving game.
TLG is probably a game that was just shown off just to make the Playstation seem like they have more games. Its one of the games that have been on their list of games for each year ever since 2009.
The first party devs are always the ones that can squeeze a little more out because they can focus on a single platform. The third party devs can get the most out of the platform thats easiest to develop for. So realistically we're going to see the PS4 edging out by a small margin but not quite as big as they think.

@Mystic Well its not like they have the worst looking games. Between Ryse and Killzone its pretty much up for grabs on which console has the best looking games. I guess I will just have to settle for 30fps like we have been for many generations.
But does it do 60fps, cause that is a deal breaker apparently . If this game is 30fps its not even worth playing.
We will just have to wait til their first party devs to take advantage of it. Halo is confirmed to be at 60 fps and I'm pretty sure they're aiming to go for graphics of the year again if Quantum Break doesnt do it. We shouldnt judge what a console is capable of from a 3rd party dev, they can put out amazing looking games but because they have to focus on all platforms they have a little trouble using the potential of all consoles
Who's worrying. I see more sonytards trying to cling onto something that makes barely little difference more than Xbox fans worrying. Just so do you think the majority of gamers that actually play games visit sites like these to find out which version of a game is barely better.
Yep Ryse and Quantum Break both look like last gen games compared to anything on the PS4 that is also a time machine and can get you any type of prostitute you want for free. I've seen the BF4 comparisons and I'll tell you that if you show the two versions side by side with out telling them which is the PS4 or X1 version to an average gamer that actually plays games, they will not be able to tell you which is which.
Except for the original xbox, had a power gap even bigger than this current gen. And if it doesnt count because they released a year later then PS3 shouldnt count either because it released a year later also.
MilkMan, it was a console reveal not a gaming reveal. It was 1 month away from E3 and they didnt want to blow all their surprises there.
Why dont we just wait and see if there really are any major changes between the two versions. They also said that they really like the cloud and can do cool stuff with it to make the city more dynamic. Oh wait I'm sorry I should say that there is no way the Xbox one can keep up with PS4. Nothing on the X1 looks even comparable to anything on the PS4.
The only reason that the X1 is getting gimped is because most 3rd party devs are too lazy to use whatever the x1 has to their advantage. That's why we have games like Ryse and Quantum Break and yes Sunset Overdrive also that will show that you should definitely not underestimate what little power that you think the X1 has.
