Lack of analog triggers bites the Wii U in the ass basically sums up this review. It's sad that Nintendo makes so many baffling design choices. Hey let's painstakingly make are system backward compatable but let's not offer any GameCube games for download because we forgot to add analog triggers to our new controllers so now porting those games that would have made us a shit load of free money day one and would have given gamers extra insentive to buy our console won't happen....

Obviously Nintendo is going to wait until the fall or winter around the time the other consoles arrive. Right before they hit the market sure as shit Nintendo will drop the price of the Wii U significantly and it will probably come with a popular pack in game like Smash Bros or Mariokart. Sony and Nintendo had a close relationship back in the day. Sony developed the way ahead of its time sound chip for the snes and after that they joined forces and created the PS1 TOGETHER which originally was an add on for the snes. Right before release Nintendo realized the deal was they would only make profit on the hardware they helped create but would get completely screwed over when it came to game sales because of Sonys rights to there new format the Laser Disc. One thing for sure is true... Sony has always been vastly overzelous when releasing the theoretical specs of there machines, I guess they know the majority of there fanbase will blindly eat it up and spread there misinformation. Hopefully this isn't the case with the PS4 but I would not be that surprised if things have been exaggerated yet again.
Nypifisil you are correct however just to clarify the Wii U has a decent amount of Edram to act as a buffer which compensates for the 12.7 GB/s obviously it comes no where close to the PS4s 176 GB/s but Its probably at minimum 3X that perceived rate.
Hell I would be thrilled to see any old Nintendo franchise reborn give me Mach Rider, 1080p Snowboarding, Ice Climbers anything Nintendo ANYTHING...

The ice cream cone controller known as the Move is a joke strait up. Sony should focus primarily on traditional core gaming and just let Nintendo do the motion control thing because so far there has been 0 compelling software that supports it. Also after watching the PS4 Move demo where you can make penis sculptures in your living room or make dolls dance or just flail your arms to play invisible instruments its safe to assume that isn't going to change much next gen.
Commander could not have summed it up better. It's troubling that AC3 was in development for so long and turned out to be so unpolished and unfocused, frankly it wasn't even fun to play. I wonder if they scraped the Anvil engine for there new Disrupt engine and if that will help them streamline the development process. Admittedly I do like the idea of being an assasin pirate so I hope they can pull it off with there limited time.

LibroRx your half right the genesis had a faster CPU and could display more sprites on screen and at a slightly higher resolution but had only a fraction of the memory for its inferior sound and graphics chips.
