darthv72 did you know you could control the ducks on Nes using the 2nd player controller ;)
You must be right judging by all these 9/10s I have been seeing for the past week ;}
The Gamepad can be used for more than one thing... I'm guessing you don't own one and can't comprehend so you just troll... Pointless...
Basic model should have never existed in the first place. What kind of confidence does 4gigs of hardrive space give downlodable game developers?
The answer is 0 confidence... This was one of the Wii Us biggest blunders, people do not like having to buy more memory for there gaming console.
Use it for scrolling through the mini map Assmangler obviously not camera control, I guess only an idiot like yourself would think that.
Honestly I think it's pretty cool being able to use the Gamepad as a secondary controller in tandem with the Wiimote - Nunchuck. Just put it in its little stand beside you on your coffee table or whatever within your reach (you can still use your fingers holding the Nunchuk) its only awkward if you make it awkward unless your just a complete oaf.
Also stupid title for this article, last time I checked the other consoles don't use Wiimotes (Sonys Pom Pom Move controll...
In regards to memory speeds both the GameCube and Wii used dual channel access doubling the memory speeds which is mentioned in this article as a rumor. I'm certain if Nintendo used this setup on there older systems then they would have again or increased it to the quad channel layout which could also be the case.
The CPU in the Wii U is definitely its weak point however at least some of the load is taken off by the forth background ARM CPU and the sound chip leaving the ...
Hopefully people will be able to actually fit them both on there tiny Wii U hard drives :{
Derp de derp der Wii U doom der derperdy derpy doo.
Thanks for the agree LonDone maybe just maybe Nintendo will make this happen. They supported all the control methods with Pikmen 3 so its probably not completely out of the question. I think this is one of the Wii U's greatest strengths, giving players a variety of control methods that can completely alter the gaming experience adding greater depth and replay value.
Honestly F#%k all these constant negative Bull$hit flamebait articles they were played out months ago... That is all.
I know I'm in the minority here and I know the Gamepad will be a great fit for Zelda but I really enjoyed the Motion+ controls in Skyward Sword and I hope they somehow incorporate both control methods, although it is highly unlikely.
I really thought Skyward Sword was the best controlling and most interactive game that I have ever played even though I consider it to be one of the worst console Zelda games overall.
Just my opinions.
Anyone who thinks the Gamepad feels unnatural or too heavy most likely hasn't held the thing or its because they have dainty little bitch wrists.
Let the Fanboy Flame Wars Begin! lol.
It's a bloody battle between the completely biased and narrow minded.
Oh No now the Trolls have come to feed on the aftermath.
Assplunderfire clearly there is no real way of reasoning with you Im not so sure your entirely able to grasp or comprehend the things I'm trying to debate my words seem completely lost on you. I guess there is no real point in trying to reason, debate or inform bedazzled N4G fanboys :[
Dude really...
Strait up I will trust an honest journalist over the dev promoting his own game any day of the week (rational thinking) I hope this game ends up playing as good as it looks because it looks stellar but its not likely going to change much in the gameplay department this far into development. I'm just being (rational) your getting bedazzled by pretty pictures, don't get your hopes up to much it will likely end up being a great graphical show piece with shallow gam...
Soo very very random lol. That movie was strange to say the least.
Because the game is so obviously a remake Xof. It uses completely new control mechanics, gameplay tweeks, difficulty setting, lighting engine, shaders etc + full 1080p graphics. How would you not consider this a remake are you daft or just in denial?
Also fanboys are fanboys don't compare them. Your last statement about how PS3 gamers except ports as ports is a pathetic generalization. You need to get over the fact that Nintendo is making more than a simple port unlike wh...
For one Nintendo is still learning how to best use the Wii U hardware WW HD is basically a stepping stone for them, it will still keep fans happy and they can turn a profit allowing them to invest more know how and money in future titles.
People who you claim that will be so wowed by realistic cinimatic games that they will never go back to any games that aren't hyper realistic are not gamers they are simply graphics whores. Gamers play games for the overall experience n...
My theory is that MarioKart 8 is Nintendos stepping stone to F-Zero U. Building a racing game engine they can improve upon with more detailed graphics at much higher speeds. I think they might be doing somthing similar with the Windwaker and the next Zelda. Who knows maybe Retro will make the next Metroid using an enhanced version of there DK Tropical Freeze game engine aswell. I would be happy with another sidescrolling Metroid with slick 3d graphics :)
