@extermin8or
Those petty comments are among one of the very reasons why I detest Ninja Theory...
I understand what you're saying as well; in fact I had agreed with you stating that the reviews were harsh. The combat feels much less fleshed out when compared to NGS2 which I was playing just earlier today. I believe I'm nearing the end of the game (Chapter 7) and thus far I would give the game about a 7/10. I do love the new atmosphere and the "cinematics" that the game is given, but some of it is overdone. Although it doesn't happen to often; when Ryu is being hurt b...
You mentioned, the "pacing", story, level design, and cinematic feeling are great; but you unfortunately had forgotten the most important aspect of the franchise. The combat! In NG3, the combat is incredibly bland.. Sure there are some nice combos that can be done here and there, but it's nothing along the lines of the previous installments or DMC/Bayo. The amount of depth in the combat system has been severely stripped, the lack of GT, Karma orbs/UT, multiple weapons and so for...
Completely agree...
The combat is so simplified, it's pathetic and quite pisses me off. I hope Hayashi realizes how much he's ****** up Ninja Gaiden and will go back to it's roots for NG4.
Platinum Games... that's all that matters. My favourite devs this generation so I know they won't fail. MGR:R will be a day one purchase for me.
Agreed. Action game please!?
Or hell, we could use some platformers this generation.
You kind of forgot to add a few parts there to your list there... Just sayin'
Same here :P
I've got X2, Isuka, Accent Core, Accent Core +, X2 on PS2, and I've got Judgement on PSP, GG Advance on GBA, GG on Ps1 and so forth. I'm psyched! And AC+ being on PS3 with online capabilities? That's great! It's been a while since I've put alot of time into the game so I may have to refine my skills again (:
HELL YESSS!!!!! My favourite fighting game franchise! (:
@unknownhero1123
Their arrogance... that's quite possibly one of the main reasons why I shall NOT purchase the game. Aside from brutally destroying the franchise in countless ways; the constant pathetic comments they make does not make it any better. DMC):
Agreed...
Actually, I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't completed Dark Souls... a bit disappointed in the game. >_<
Demon's Souls is still by far one of my top favourite PS3 games (next to NGS2)...
The things I would do for a cross platform play between PSV and PS3...
As much as I loved Dark Sector, I disagree with your statement. The Darkness has been and is still one of my favourite games this generation and the sequel is just down right awesome!...
On that note, I'd love a Dark Sector 2... But I need The Darkness 3 as well.
Agreed. I think the cell shading was done alright to an extent. But like everyone else; I do prefer the art style of the original. Fuck the haters, TD2 will be incredible!...
So much? Such as what?
I thoroughly enjoyed the demo and played it multiple times. I absolutely adored the original; in fact I'm replaying for the 4th time this week in anticipation for the sequel. Sure the cell shading is something alot of people including myself aren't too fond of, but the gameplay was actually top notch and makes up for it. Plus, I've got quite the obsession with blood/gore and the excessive amount used was great! Plus, the co-op looks incredibly fun! A...
@zerocrossing
Praise!? Hahaha, so many people hated on the game, and reviews bashed the living **** out of it; hence me stating it was "underrated"... But I guess as time goes by, people decided to like games that people hated on before. Like now, Legend Of Dragoon is highly praised amongst everyone, but back then, everyone was like "OMG FFVII IS SO MUCH BETTER" and so forth... But yet it's still one of the best RPG's ever created in my book.
Chaos Legion...
Not every day you hear someone mentioning that game. It's definitely one of my favourites as well. It's a pity it was such an underrated and underappreciated game...
Exactly my thoughts... I'm just waiting for another Bayo announcement. DmC is destroyed.. and Ninja Gaiden seems to be on the verge of that as well. Although; I still retain my pre-order for NG3. DmC Reboot? Not a chance.
I only liked the kirby one because it was kirby... Everything else was terrible...
As much as people hate on the game. unfortunately, it will probably sell plenty of copies due to the fact that "DmC" is in the name. I, for one will not be purchasing the game until it hits the bargain bin; but I will state that I am interested in the game as an action game.
