And I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty more. And I did NOT list any games that were also coming on PC
Weak list? Now go ahe...
Of course it's entirely opinionated. I was never fond of the Xbox controller in general, way to bulky and I didn't like the positioning of the analog sticks. Plus the D-pad is atrocious. I've always preferred the DS3 over the 360 controller, and the DS4 is a vast improvement over the DS3 in nearly every way (except for battery life) and many websites tend to agree. So it's not surprising the PS4 controller won "best controller" as well. Again, if you prefer the X1 co...
@Dannycr
I'm not saying it's bad in any way. It's an incredible game and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just miss the old style Castlevania, that is all. Regarding your comment of LoI, that was a damn good Castlevania, and I personally enjoyed Curse Of Darkness on PS2 as well.
I just believe LoS was hyped like crazy, and I was just replying to the original poster stating he believed that it was underrated. That being said, I agree with you on the fact...
Underrated!? I think it was highly overrated to be honest. It was a good game nonetheless (I have collectors edition) but no where near the masterpiece of the older Castlevanias, to which I'm a HUGE Castlevania fan. Nearly played every single one of them to date. But everyone and their mom loves Lords Of Shadows...
Dated game genre? What about Blazblue? Or the upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd would like a word with you..
Nah, not really. It doesn't look like it has anything to do with the others in the series. Either way, I'd HIGHLY recommend you picking up the original if you're interested in the third. The original is an extremely dark and ****ed up game. Incredible in many aspects, and I'd highly recommend it, as it's one of my favourite games on PS2.
Me too! Though I would love to see the VC32 back and the M82... Though with the VC32 back, what would be the point of the LS70? I guess they'd figure out a way. I'm be psyched to see the classic weapons come in play though. I adore the multiplayer, and this constant support is downright awesome!
@OverPaperSkies, if you're referring to Sony not having any new IPs for this generation...
- Driveclub (New IP)
- Transistor (New IP)
- Deep Down (New IP)
- Guerilla Games unannounced action game (New IP)
- The Order: 1866 (New IP)
- Resogun (New IP)
- Sony London working on a new IP
- Knack (New IP)
- Daylight (New IP)
- Rime (New IP)
Need me to continue? Sony's always pushing ou...
I agree with him. It honestly doesn't look too good, especially for it being Cryengine. The ground looks nice though... Maybe the picture has to be blown up, but from the small picture and all, from what I can tell, it looks very mediocre.
I guess people think that because the art style is more cartoony, it doesn't look "next gen". But the graphics are actually pretty damn impressive on Knack. Granted, I hadn't played the game myself but I've certainly seen videos at 1080p and I'm still impressed. Sure, it's not a technical/realistic looking masterpiece like Killzone or RYSE, but it's still graphically impressive in it's own right.
Sunset Overdrive is the only game I really want on the Xbox One. 'Tis a pity Insomniac didn't develop it for PS4):
This trailer is actually pretty good though! I'd like to see Sony's answer to this :D
Ya know, as much as I hate Ninja Theory, I would love another Heavenly Sword...
Kickass list there. Nice to see GG and Drakengard on there. Not many people know those are coming out!
Guilty Gear, Drakengard 3, Strider, The Evil Within are among my tops for PS3. And don't even get me strated on PS4 (Drive Club and InFamous already preordered) and soon to be The Division, The Crew, Destiny, and so many more. 2014/2015 will prove to be a damn good year for gamers on all platforms! \m/
I totally agree with you man. It takes alot for me to get hooked to an FPS multiplayer for more than 10 hours nowadays. I love the diversity of both the weapons and the classes. And I really like the unlocking system. It's not too overly difficult, but just right. I'm constantly switching classes. Not to just help with objectives, but I like the class unique abilities, and different weapons. KZ:SF's MP is absolutely incredible. Of course it's not without it's flaws. For a ...
Replacing the HDD on your PS4 does not void your warranty. But I understand where you're coming from. It's just a pity that Microsoft would make something so simple, so complicated. If you replace the hard drive, and parts in a computer, it doesn't void the warranty if done by a professional/asp certified workplace. Though that particular part wouldn't be covered under the manufacturer's warraty.
And on your note regarding headers on a car. Replacing the ...
Resogun is not available on PC. It's a Sony exclusive title, just like the other incredible games made by Housemarque.
Killzone: SF heavily differs from KZ3. And not only in the graphics department. At least they're trying new things and making it seem/look like a true next generation title.
CoD: Ghosts looks exactly like the previous CoD games. Hell, even the graphics have barely improved. They're not improving much when it's the same game over and over. Don't see why people keep buying the same game with a few extra things each game. OMG YOU CAN THROW AXES NOW, MUST BUY NEW...
I know it's not a simulator. I never said it was. It still looks like an incredible racing game nonetheless. It doesn't have to be a "simulator" to be a good racing game. Just saying... I'm just really looking forward to these two games, with the addition of The Crew.
Drive Club & Project CARS. The epitome of racing games...
I'm impressed, and I loved the demo. But I agree, Monster Hunter is still better. If only Sony could bring MH to the PS4/PS Vita...
