"So now we will have a 100% PC in a box instead of a console. Yay =\ "
You could upgrade the nintendo 64 and that didnt crash the console market and spirel it downward into the pc market.

So true.
Blueray, dual output hdmi (to play on 2 tv's instead of split screen), and mo faster hardware. O and I dont want some quirky lcd tv in the center of my controller.
Good list. Half the games Ive never even heard of, but I need to check some of them out.
"Why would I buy this? If i have a andriod phone"
So everyone is just like you? Every 12 year old has the same exact andriod that they can hook up to the tv. The same model of tv you have too I bet your thinking.
You know what they say about assumptions, right?
Want it.
Really OUYA a hypothetical home console that may never even release? Very off topic since all android users are curently cell phone and tablet.
Linux. Too much effort just to play a game=no ty.
Still no controller for android, no ty.
It got some higher ratings from more repectable review sites. This one seemed to rate the low priced live game as if it were a $60 game.
"most people don't even have a 1080p tv yet. Let alone something of higher resolution like a PC monitor"
Ive had a 1080p tv for going on 5 years now. And those that still dont have one, can have a reason to get one. Not too mention you can easily just hook up a console to a pc monitor thru the hdmi port.
Mobile phones need a physical controller or no ty.
This Xperia is reported to be equiped with a Targa 3 chip. Thats the most advanced quad-core mobile chip. No U.S. cell phone has that right now.
I guess Im confused where your getting your "dated tech" theory, Hoje0308.
"Blu-ray existed for about six months before the PS3 came out"
Yes for $500 bluray players existed before ps3 (with almost no movie selection). Not really surprising why they didnt sell well.
Lets give the full picture here folks before cutting and pasting fragmented "facts" to prove our points.
"no MMO can survive the subscription only based model"
I kinda think the opposite is true. Free based mmos dont bleed money so they are either very stale with no new content, go bankrupt, or have started charging to pay for in game items.
Is it just me or has NG4 less fanboyish in the past 4-6 months than it has in years past?
Ive also noticed more MS + PS3 teaming up against WiiU. Maybe, maybe not. Just seems like a trend Ive been seeing.
Ok the ps2 and xbox 1 had online and 3rd party support 5 years before the wii even released.
So basically over 10 years later the Wii U is still playing catch up. Depressing.
It has little to with labor being sent to country A or B.
It stems from countries such as China who dont have any copyright laws and protections coupled with an accepting culture and a very low income country = a formula for cheap knockoffs.
Sony and nintendo doesnt even sell any of thier products in China. That alone should tell you something.
Just put random commercials on that controller screen while you game.
no sir, online gaming on every console is a far superior experience to the pc. consoles are much more cheat code and hack proof than the pc.
as for smaller library, i think ill be ok with the library of around 1,000+ games out currently. if i need more games after that, i'll just go outside.
