The devs have had more time with directx than Opengl. So developing for the x box one would be easier for them.
If they're pushing graphics to the max. Its going to be 900p and 30 frames for both.

Driveclub has the better graphics, but that's not surprising at all. The game was a bit of letdown when it was shown off at Gamescom though. Forza looks more arcadey with brighter colours. Forza has more content to keep gamers happy.
Driveclub was a launch game and its not offering much in the way of content. It lacks cars and tracks. If all you care about is graphics and racing around in a circle. Then buy Driveclub.
Directx12 was never a game changer for resolution. People jumped on it and said how will this make the GPU better it doesn't do that.
Directx12 will improve CPU performance. How much of a performance gain will directx12 bring can't be answered at this point. Even a small gain is a game changer. Intel got a 70 per cent performance boost testing directx11 and directx12 against each other. I expect least 30 per cent gain if not more for xb1.

Even on PC its rare to find a game that doesn't drop at least a few frames time and again. The better the hardware the more easily a game can run smoothly. Console hardware isn't high end. The one advantage PS4 has is the GDDR5 memory. On paper the PS4 has a better GPU but devs don't utilise 18 CU's they only use 14 for balance.

I say sales are around 4 and half million or 5 million by now for Microsoft. They had really good Gamescom so i would not be surprised if things picked up from middle of August till December.

I think the problem with this service is you can get your moneys worth from those games in about two months and you might get bored then and move on. For 30 Euros a year though the service is good value. Getting to play early access EA titles fully for 6 hours for me would be worth it. I had two of those games already before this was announced. So i am going to wait till a year or two before accessing this service. More games equals better value for me.
Digital foundry already tested this game a week ago and the xb1 version (900p 60 frames) was already showing substantially better frames than the PS4 version was at 1080p and 60 frames (pre patch) People said you can't judge it that way because the PS4 version has a higher resolution.

I think they will close the sales gap by the middle of 2015. Its very hard to win a console race when you rival Sony has a larger fan base worldwide. Microsoft x box brand still isn't a global brand. Microsoft makes its money from other things. They don't need x box to be successful.

Is this game really that big of a deal. How many PS4 users bought that last one be interested to know. I never bought the last one for xb1. So not really bothered Microsoft got it as an exclusive.
