To be honest i was never a halo fan. After trying Destiny its good, but not really a game i'd play for hours and hours.
Last gen Gears of War was the best shooter for me and i play them all day. Gears is just lot of fun online compared to this. I can't wait for it to come out.
Starwars battlefront and the Division look good too though.
Andrew@ Eurogamer does it with every game they test PS4 version of the game by the MS benchmark method and test the xbox 1 version with the FPS benchmark. Never trusted Eurogamer, with this. They deliberately do this to hide facts.
I will stick to redtechgaming for a fair and balanced review and he did give the win to the PS4 on first impressions. More indepth review is coming.

Vgchartz have always had PS4 at the top so its interesting to see the x box 1 there for a change.
The last week of the NPD was really good for Microsoft and vgchartz are showing that too.
1 week doesn't change anything in the race, but hopefully its a sign people are interested in buying an x box 1 again.

Its a good sign though they've started offering new deals, like two games for free with gold and an x box 1 for 400 dollars.
It might be having an effect of increasing sales for them. I can't say what the specific numbers are, but i have noticed lot of people posting on x box 1 reddit in the last week, saying they've picked up an x box 1 with this deal. One guy even said he felt he was robbing Microsoft, he got destiny, madden, 13 months of gold for 400.

The x box 1 will not be more powerful than the PS4 with this and its not a game changer for resolution. Two things not fully understood.
Its not going to solve the 1080p for every game in the future. You can run any game at 1080p and 60 frames on xb1 and PS4 and you can do that on PC, its been done for years, but the problem for devs they're trying to have both high end graphics and 1080p and 60 frames at the same time. Nobody is sure some people think dx12 might not be supported with windows 7. Windows 8 and 8.1 more likely.
I'll be upgrading with every new OS you gain a extra few frames with games, higher resolutions, and more memory can be used.
dx12 and how good it will be windows 9 is anyones guess. Not sure if xb1 will be updated to windows 9?
I knew a person who had a chipped x box 360 and he never bought a 360 game ever. He told me you could never play multiplayer due to the risks of getting caught.
This is likely just single player and not effecting anyone but you.

I honestly don't get the negativity, PC will have the best version, but i am not getting it for the PC to feel superior. I like mods and with good mods you could be playing the game for years and still not be bored.
System requirements for PC are usually between 4 and 6 gigs of ram. You have to have a card that supports directx11 for higher shading. Minimum processor is usually 2.6ghz could be higher here.

I'm think about buying a PS4 controller for my PC just to see how much of an improvement it is over the PS3 one.
I use the x box 1 controller already for my PC, but i am curious to see how different the PS4 controller is to use.
x box had already got good security, you just have to set up, so nobody can hack your account.
Have an x box 1, no PS4, but i will be getting this for my PC. I like to experiment with mods and this game would be great for it.
My computer is high end so it will look great. Be interesting to see the improvements made for next gen consoles though.

Microsoft will have to decide is it worth it? Microsoft is selling units, is not as if they sold none at all.
25,000 sold in 1 week and Japan traditionally never cared for the x box brand, so i don't consider this a failure. If sales dropped into the low hundreds in the coming months yes thats not good and is it worth shipping x box 1 to Japan with those numbers sold?
Microsoft should concern themselves more with China and see how it goes there for them. ...
To be honest the PS4 is more popular with casual gamers and a lot more casual gamers than hardcore gamers out there.
x box is more suited for hardcore and competitive players. Console Esports traditionally has always been played on x box, the most skilled gamers buy x box and play there.

NPD doesn't take into account console bundles so a slightly skewed result. It only accounts for a physical copy of madden bought at retail.
There is more PS4 owners than x box 1 owners in America, so logically, more people would buy madden for the PS4.
Also EA access for x box 1 means the game will be available for people who have a subscription so this can have an effect on sales at shops.
Microsoft hasn't even confirmed any of this yet. We don't know the in's and outs just yet.
Digital gaming is excellent especially on x box 1. I no longer have to buy games at stupid prices in the shop. I share games with a friend and he with me and i have got diablo and destiny for nothing, with home sharing. I even buy games at cheaper prices by switching my dashboard to a different region.
My days of buying game disks are over.

Actually it was the Minecraft creator who approached Microsoft according to reports, not the other way around. Minecraft was a huge game on 360, one of most played games on x box live.
A news report from Bloomberg confirms what i just said. Microsoft is only in talks now can't change the fact the game is available for PS4 now.

Microsoft doesn't want Indies on its console that nobody will buy. Microsoft filters out games that nobody cares for and if indies are your thing you should own a PC not a console.
Parity clause is dumb though, i think, it doesn't need to be there.I don't think anyone truly cares if an indie title releases earlier on PS4 or for x box 1.
Outlast and Warframe released later for x box 1. Microsoft did not enforce that policy there.
I'll give it a go, but its coming to PS4 too so it all good for everyone.
