I bet we will see good sales for Microsoft next NPD out this month. Microsoft will alway be behind Sony worldwide. Sony ships to lot more countries worldwide. Gamescom was a game changer for Microsoft.
First sales figures for Japan are out next week sometime. Should get a more realistic assessment of how bad or good it was then? Expectations are low obviously.
Microsoft would have hoped for a good launch. I don't think Microsoft was expecting a terrible launch? Anyway we will see next week the figures for the first week.
The amazing thing about the collection is you can switch between the old graphics and new graphics anytime you like. Has that ever been done in a game before?

x box fans were called liars even though we said the x box 1 will get better. Sony fans believed the x box 1 would be still pumping out 720p games even now, but that changed. Even still it doesn't dawn on them the x box 1 is just as good as the PS4.

Interesting part about this is there is almost 5 to 1 ratio of Chinese people preferring the kinect bundle over the one without. Maybe the Chinese people like the extra features Kinect provides?
Americans buy lot of Chinese goods. So Microsoft would have better chance in China.
Sony not sure. Chinese people are very nationalist and they seem to hate the Japanese at the moment. It be interesting to see how the PS4 does though.

Nothing wrong with the x box sales don't mean the console is garbage. Most people on here who own bought both often say they prefer x box 1 to play games on.

I don't assume the PS4 is rubbish. Just doesn't have games i am interested in. I like shooters more than role playing games, not to say i don't play them.

Multiplat game and servers owned by bungie. Problems on PSN network, i bet you'll likely end up with the same problems on x box live. Microsoft and Sony have to depend on Bungie to deliver a flawless game.

Ps4 is more more popular in Japan. I don't think anyone disagrees with that, but its too early for sales projections yet. Even 10,000 or less a month is good i think for Japan
As long as they don't take your money when you pre-order, i don't see a problem. The game may or may not come to PS4, but what's the harm pressing the pre-order button and waiting it out to see?
Game is also offering an x box bundle with destiny and the halo master collection for 349 pounds. Great deal if true, might be another mistake. Two games for 49 pounds is nothing (300 for the console)
I really need a next gen Gears. For me all the next gen shooters, have so far missed the spot to keep me playing. Gears i played for hours and hours and rarely got bored playing online.
Shinobi has been spot on with most his information, so far. The rest of the insiders are hit and miss and i don't believe them. Its probably true as he gets most things right. We will see anyway soon enough if Japanese gamers are interested.
He could be referring to pre-orders in store (Japan) You can buy a x box 1 in a store now. Online pre orders isn't a true reflection of demand.
Sony sells its console to 100 countries. Microsoft 13. Sony is obviously going to continue leading globally. Breakdown of sales in the regions Microsoft sells to is the most important thing to look out for.
Sony so far is leading in the UK and United States. You have to watch those markets to see if a momentum is swinging back to Microsoft or staying with Sony.

GDDDR5 can deal with low end graphics and high end end graphics simultaneously. AMD and Nivida use GDDR5 for a reason.
Microsoft vision was to release a console that could more things than just game. Sony vision was to release a console and its main purpose was just playing games.
Its down to preference the console you like best.
The DDR3 and Esram configuration was the right choice. The x box 1 focus was more than just playing games.
Its a Bungie game running on servers they own. If Bungie have not optimised the code to run good on PSN than maybe we will see issues? I dont expect issues unless hackers try again.
