nope the problem is the GPU and i have x box 1. The PS4 GPU ouputs at 1.8 teraflops you need that amount to run games at 1080p and 60 frames.
Microsoft is well aware they will never get 1080p and 60 frames with most graphically intensive games. Its impossible. Reason the GPU in the XB1 is only 1.3 teraflops.
So Microsoft and developers will have to compromise on frame rate or resolution.
i am undecided, but i am thinking lately higher resolution might be better for online gaming giving the player a better line of sight?
Reason why i think frame rate is less of an issue is because we connect online by the internet.lag happens anyway. 30 frames, i don't think it would be that bad even for shooters, if it was solid 30 frames.
It was reported that Tomb raider on xb1 was running at a lower resolution too a few days back and now that looks like its untrue.
Wait until its confirmed before saying Thief is running at a lower resolution.

Drivers will help improve frame rates not with resolution. Going to a higher resolution can cause frame rate drops.
The reason why Titanfall runs at 720p is mainly because of the GPU inside the xb1.

The xb1 will have issues with some games because of its GPU and ddr3 and Esram memory mix. Overtime things will improve.

You can't use the cloud for graphics because the internet infrastructure worldwide sucks. Lot of people have no broadband at all and in most cases still using ASDL to connect online.
Graphics in cloud is years away its something that likely will happen in the future.
Cloud streaming, dedicated servers by the cloud, storage is more realistic to provide today.
