Avatar was simply a clear example of how it SHOULD be done. There's a lot of misinformation about filming 3D out there right now, but just because there are a slew of shit movies thrown together and poorly converted to 3D, all simply to reap the benefits of having the '3D' at the end of the title, doesn't mean that encapsulates what 3D has to offer, there are plenty of shitty 2D movies too, of coarse.
Filmmakers generally haven't been educated properly on...

Exactly what I was gonna say... Egypt and the whole desert setting would be the obvious next step. The tombs and rich history would lend itself perfectly I think. Although to break up all the desert, I would hope they make the game span over a few areas/settings, after all the scope of the game should expand in the third installment.
I also think places like Japan or China would be cool too, maybe have certain points where you could have downtime to explore a populous city li...
Cause I could definitely see that happening, maybe when the next generation of consoles roll out, with the new tech and what not, they would have more of an excuse to up the price as well. It's hard to say though, games are quite pricey as it is.
The show does look really cool though, I'll be very interested to see how things change from now until the next gen.
Whether you like the game or not, KZ2 is universally considered one of the best or at least a great FPS, if what KZ2 has to offer is lost on you, your opinion on games (esp. shooters) is straight up irrelevant. But I think you're just trolling anyway to be honest....
Things will change, companies will adapt, but progress will never stop. It's not as if graphics will collectively begin to get worse so developers can save money, they'll just have to adapt. There's a huge market for AAA games that push graphics, if the industry just began to ignore or neglect that portion of the market, it would only be a matter of time till someone came along to swoop in and capitalize on it.
The world is changing for more than just the gaming ...
Visuals are more than just still shots. The animations , art direction, style, how much is going on on the screen, how well is it used/ executed etc. and overall look is what makes games like U2 far better looking than Crysis in my opinion. Although if you look at a screenshot of Crysis on full settings next to certain U2 screens, Crysis will likely look better. And I think they were referring to console gaming anyway, we all get that a top of the line PC will always have more horsepower than...

In other words he made up a bullshit title and article to go with it for hits, tried to start a rumor and make an issue out of nothing, or maybe he was actually too retarded to understand what the job posting actually meant, so he disables commenting to save further embarrassment. Can't handle people telling you you're full of shit? Than do...

Look at the rest of his articles, he's clearly not the guy to take your gaming advice from. This is CNN, they don't review or talk about any real gaming topics, and hence, haven't a clue. Although if you want advice on facebook, twitter and the ipad, this guy might be your man.
ma bad
If any game deserves the hype and kudos it's U2. Give credit where credit's due. No matter how good something is, there'll always be an obscure angry nerd blogger who needs hits to hate on it.
Or I could just go by my own first hand experience. My ps3 is very fast, I've never had an issue with connection speed. I use the browser quite often as well to watch shows or movies online on players like wisevid and megavideo, they load nearly as fast as they do on my macbook pro. It works like a charm, try doing that on the 360.
Ridiculous, ill informed and utterly juvenile about sums up my thoughts on this article.
If you're lonely, hit up your local rub n tug, if you wanna play sick games, get a PS3.
The song choice was good at least...
See now if the proper title was used, I would not have wasted my time checking it out.... Who am I kidding I would have wasted it anyway.
have no practical use and have been done better already, ala sixaxis. Kinect is bad news for MS, it's never good when a company must rely solely on consumer ignorance.
We're not talking military tech here, when it comes to gadgets and household electronics etc. Japan takes the cake.
in fact it looks absolutely scrumtrulescent.....
Sorcery looks really cool. For someone who doesn't much care for the whole motion controls thing, I'm very excited about the direction Sony seems to be going with it. Just like 3D, motion controls can be used as a cheap gimmick to draw people in to an otherwise sub par story/game while adding nothing to the experience, OR it can be a very cool feature used sparingly and appropriately, helping the user/viewer to become more immersed in the experience.
It all depends ...
It was a much needed step in the right direction for otherwise lackluster multiplatforms. It's important that games like these exist to prove what's possible, and puts pressure on their peers to step it up as well. In my opinion, exclusives are ideal, but just because multiplatforms have to make compromises, doesn't mean a great game can't be made with the the tools they DO have.
AA was awesome, but I hope for the next one they work a little on making it a bi...
