Which always amazes me. As far as this generation is concerned, they are in a position to squeeze the Live subscribers, but is it really wise this late in the game to do so? Agreed! and on a side note: HOLY FUCKING SHIT! I'm continuously blown away by these GT5 previews. The sense of speed, the beyond gorgeous convertible cockpit view.... I'm actually physically aching to play this game. I can't wait to get behind the wheel. GT5 is clearly in a league of its own.
Of coarse graphics don't mean much without great gameplay and story behind it, and of coarse there are great, fun games that aren't graphics intensive whatsoever, but when it's clearly demonstrated time and time again that it's entirely possible to have BOTH, unless it's an aesthetic decision, there's no reason why we shouldn't expect games to have great gameplay AND competitive graphics.

Having lights coming from the controller like that at best is useless, at worst is distracting. I personally don't look at my controller when I play, usually I'm looking at the screen. If you haven't figured out where the buttons all are yet the lights won't help you anyway.
